  • How Suite It Is, Our Master Bedroom and Ensuite are finally done! It has truly been a labor of love for us and we are so pleased with the results. Our Inspiration came from the headboard we made from exotic wood screens. From there we created the bedside lighting from Moroccan style lanterns. To pull it all together we found an amazing rock sink. By combining two rooms we created a large open space with an exotic hotel feel that includes a cozy sitting area. The ensuite boasts a wonderful double shower that reminds us of some of the beautiful hotels we have visited., Bedrooms Design

  • Farmhouse Porch dressed for Fall, We have a big porch on our farmhouse that we use quite a bit for entertaining. It is overflowing with little tables, chairs, places to sit, relax with a cup of hot apple cider and enjoy the view of our farm. When it gets chilly out comes cozy quilts, plaid throws and even a fire pit., Porches Design

  • Black and White Hollywood Icon Guest Bathroom, This is my ode to old Hollywood. A large mugshot of Frank Sinatra sits above the toilet in my guest bathroom. The vanity holds silver accents such as a tissue box, soap dispenser cover, and a vintage camera box for small bathroom necessities. The main wall is a gallery wall with some of my favorite classic Hollywood stars and movies including Lucille Ball and Elizabeth Taylor in black frames. The lanterns hold candles that I like to light when guests are over. , Bathrooms Design

  • Bright and Fun - Gender Neutral Nursery, We tried to make the space gender neutral, but without using yellow or green on the walls. We ended up with aqua blue with white and orange accents. The room is almost finished but we are waiting for the arrival of the little one prior to putting up some picture frames and perhaps the baby's name over the crib. Dresser, nightstand, chair, stuffed animals, rugs, and bookcase are all from Ikea. Baskets were purchased at Dollarama. Paper Lanterns are from Chinatown. All bedding and other fabric room decor were custom made by me using various fabrics purchased at Fabricland.
We hope our little one enjoys the space as much as we have enjoyed putting it together., Nurseries Design

  • Budget Tropical Porch, My porch was going to be my next project, but in order to save money, I decided to not buy anything new and try to find things I had around the house to make this space be a continuation of the rest of the house decor. So, I had a can of spray paint and began moving things around! Our family loves to surf and stand-up paddle so I put the stand-up paddle book on the shelf. All the candles in lanterns light up, so it's warm and inviting in the evening. I spray painted some of the planters and the table black. So, this is definitely a work-in-progress and uncompleted until I find something else!, Porches Design

  • Mini Makeover , I had budgeted myself £43.28 for the overhaul. Why £43.28? Besides that fact that I like to be awkward, I did not want to spend lots of moola on a room which I can see us gutting out and starting again in a few years time. As long as I can refresh the decor and create a clutter free zone I am happy. To keep cost down, I repurposed a lot of items in this room.
