  • Christmas Tablescape: A lil' rustic & a lil' whimsy, Another Grocery store find was this church. At the Dollar store I found some grape wine wreath that had this greenery attached. I just used the greenery and saved the grape wine wreaths for another project. The Napkins were 70% off at Kohl's and the silverware is 'Winterberry'. The 'place cards' are actually just from a Christmas Post-it pad and I used pine cones to hold them.

  • INTERIOR GARDEN DINING, Brought the outdoors inside. Had picked up two ferns last weekend at Lowes for only $7, and lucked out at Target by finding a $50 trellis on clearance for only $10. The natural bamboo color picks up on the tablescapes place-settings and centers of flowers. Had painted Dining room wall RALPH LAUREN Vintage Masters Emperor., Dining Rooms Design

  • THRIFTED TABLESCAPE, Good to prep before Thanksgiving day: Clean all stemware, silverware, and serveware to be used. Time consuming now, but it will be less hectic for later. By preplanning space now, I saw that the leaf really needed to be added [even if only four people]. Additional pics to come after the table leaf added...

Also: By taking inventory of what we already have and thrifting for some updated pieces, I inexpensively gave multiple varitaions on a theme to mix and match. Thrifting for tableware is also a heck of a lot less expensive than going to the mall and spending $$$ on a new set - plus it's more fun to hunt for!

I also saved money by spray painting some existing items in gold: Twig table runners, square rattan chargers, and Dollar Store multi-colored leaves. Even some of my orange Big Lot's pumpkins got refresed in gold and cream with a gold mist.

  • Creating a Fall Mantel that is a little Rustic but still Elegant, I've created this display on my mantel to show that it is possible to mix items that are considered rustic like pinecones and a antiqued pumpkin with glittery leaves and a glass mosaic pumpkin. Using the burnt oranges, golden yellows, and rusty reds of fall, a display can look cohesive if done correctly. Everyday objects like vintage baskets and metal lanterns turn into fall decorations when combined with some leaves and berries. One of the secrets to this look is using different textures and putting the decorations on different levels. Even the mirror has been used to showoff a beautiful wreath. I love that all the things that I love can be combined into one display and look complete!, Holidays Design

  • Baby Cait's Room, We wanted to create a very girly space with touches of sophistication. We accomplished this with our color palate and simple decor. We used soft, subdued shades of pink and white juxtaposed with pops of bright lime green. We are very happy with the end result, creating a space our baby girl can enjoy for many years to come., Girls' Rooms Design

  • Spring Tea Table Scape, I had the family over for a Spring High Tea. I decided to set the table with Spring in mind and kept it soft with spring colors. Because it was still cool outside I chose to eat indoors. We had a great time getting together and a great start to the start of the Spring season. I just used things I had around the house for the tablescape and purchased some daffidols from the Cancer Association., Dining Rooms Design
