  • DIY White Painted Kitchen Cabinets Makeover, After many months of research and then trial and error, we perfect the best method for us to complete our DIY painted white kitchen renovation. Our room was lacking in natural light, but it is now a light and bright space! However, it was a long road to get there- we meticulously filled in all of the grain on the cabinets, primed, and used a paint sprayer to achieve a professional high-end cabinetry look! We are so pleased with the results, and we are excited to share our method! Please visit the Everyday Enchanting blog for the complete tutorial!, Kitchens Design

  • Marvelous Modern Kitchen Remodel from Old French Country Outdate, We converted our old 1977 French Country Kitchen to a clean, crisp Modern design. I designed my remodel design around the original red mod fireplace in the kitchen. This is a huge kitchen with open lines, we wanted to build on that openness and kept focus on the great windows and light in the room. High gloss cabinets achieved by painting with automobile paint and gloss. All stainless appliances and accessories., Kitchens Design

  • The Money Pit , This is my new kitchen. I forgot the water was running in the sink and flooded the kitchen and decided I could do a better job on my own than using the insurance contractor. :) My husband passed away 4 yrs ago so I was on my own. I had help from a young man and his friend for the heavy parts but the rest I did myself. , Kitchens Design

  • Kitchen Renovation, Dreary and Dark becomes Sunny and Bright, Welcome to my kitchen renovation…so glad you stopped by! The before picture says it all…dreary dark and stuck in the 80’s with the beige-colored formica counter tops and backsplash. You can’t see it in the photo but a previous homeowner had managed to badly melt the countertop in two spots. (LOL) Definitely time for a change! :-) Hope you enjoy the new look and I'd love for you to come visit and leave me a note at: http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/, Kitchens Design

  • kitchen remodel: when the walls come tumbeling down before and after, we purchased this 50 y/o home last fall. most of the home with the exception of the kitchen had been beautifully renovated by the previous owners. we loved the house but hated the kitchen. as you can see in the before shots it was very tiny. we decided to remove the wall between the kitchen and formal living room to create an open more usable space for our family. we now plenty of storage lots of room to cook eat and visit. , Kitchens Design

  • Old World (Medieval/Tudor) Basement 2nd Kitchen & Media Room, The basement was part of the original tri-level, and was a 22X36 room. We added a lower kitchen and media room when we remodeled and did the last addition to our home . We were able to fit the full kitchen and living area in what had been the large1970s room, complete with indoor/outdoor carpet and dark cheap paneling. YUCK! <LOL> It was so depressing that we only used it for storage.

We entertain often, on a large scale, and needed two full kitchens.

Since the lower level was finished, we use it as our primary kitchen. It's nice to be with the family and where our 50" TV can be seen while I cook., Basements Design

  • Kitchen Be'Gone, With no from kitchen to bathroom to bedroom or exit from same with privacy it took a lot of ingenuity to incorporate and hide the pocket door (hidden behind adjoining living room wall pictured)… when in its pocket a (once plan) utility closet door becomes the focal point of a tiny hall turned stylish bathroom bedroom foyer. , Kitchens Design

The peach colored ceiling soffit outlines the shape of the wall that used to enclose the kitchen before i tore it down to open it up.
