  • UPDATE: A "new direction" with a Board and Batten Family Room , We just finished giving our family room a much needed makeover! The style - Board and Batten. It was a lot of work, we did all of it ourselves, but completely worth it! This room went from a space that I did not like to be in that felt disjointed from the rest of the house, to a space that I could easily spend all day in! I added cardinal points onto our ceiling for a new look! The room now has a slightly nautical feel that we love!   • Outdoor kitchen on small lot, This is a very small backyard close to the beach. Its about 25x50. But we set it up to where we use all of our property.   • Whispering Waters cottage kitchen, I decided to keep the kitchen cabinets unfitted using antique hoosier and possum belly cabinet. I also use an old icebox for storage. I found the sink in a field with 3 coats of paint on it and totally refinished it myself!, Kitchens Design

  • The look for a lot less-before & after, transitional kitchen style. i spent a lot of time pricing and revising plan to achieve a custom kitchen look without the price tag. because i love to cook but hate to clean, function was just as important as aesthetics. behind pocket door (left of ovens) is my pantry with custom looking cabinets and wood countertops (home depot unfinished cabinets w/ trim molding added and salvaged wood countertops) w/ built-in microwave and prep sink.   • Pinnacle of Design BEFORE PHOTOS ADDED!, You have to really see the "before" to truly appreciate our kitchen now. It was UGLY! Now we have stacked cabinetry that draws the eye to the peak of the cathedral ceilings with soft cream-colored raised-panel doors and a classic beaded inset frame featuring magnificent molding flutes columns pilasters keys and corbels.   • Is this the same kitchen?, NOTE: I cannot get the lighting on my camera set up correctly so the pics are not the best. As promised....I am starting to post photos of the interior of our house.   • HGTV RMS Inspiration Room - my new kitchen photos, My kitchen is one of the inspiration rooms on episode #208 of the Rate My Space Show. Thank you Angelo, Jillian and HGTV for choosing my kitchen as an inspiration room. It was quite an honor and a lot of fun being on the show. I renovated my kitchen a couple of years ago. We went from an outdated 1980's kitchen to this. The original kitchen had pickled oak cabinets with white formica countertops. I wish I had taken a "before" picture to show you.   • Disasterous2Glamorous-Living/Dining B&A, It's a good thing RMS doesn't have smellevision! This dated house was occupied by tenants for many years, and needed to be totally rennovated from floor to ceiling before putting it on the market. We removed the 70's railing,scraped the popcorn celings,retextured the walls before painting,added crown moulding,new wood floors,gave the fireplace a complete makeover,and really changed the whole feel of the house by opening up a wall with an archway. We couldn't be more thrilled as it sold the same day,with 15 offers and for $55k over asking price! We're still in shock!, Living Spaces Design
