  • Big changes little dollars, Exterior of my first " Go Green " renovation. Craig's List, Ebay, Habitat for Humanities are a few of the places I purchased items from. The goal was to re-use building products and keep our costs low by searching and bartering through local souces. This is an investment rental property, purchased at the right price due to lack of care & maintenance. By finding those special deals we received quality items and cut our renovation costs by almost half. You might want to keep in mind, that I worked the site during the day and surfed Craig's list and watched TV at night. I spent quite a bit of time surfing and chasing after these items across two states, but ultimately I saved a lot. Thank You for taking the time to look at my projects., Home Exterior Design

  • 1984 Time Capsule, We are in the process of a total home remodel. We bought a house that was built in 1985 and had apparently been preserved as a time capsule. I will add more photos of other areas in the house. I am really proud of the dining room. In the before picture you can see the carpet was salmon colored, the wainscoting and moulding was yellow, pink floral foil wallpaper, heavy drapes and valance that were the same pattern as the wallpaper, and a ceiling damaged by nails from a new roof. We installed hand scraped hardwood floors, an updated wallpaper, painted all wainscoting and moulding, added granite to the built-in (it was white cultured marble), built in a wood plank ceiling, new window shades, and added our furniture and decor with some new and vintage touches., Dining Rooms Design

  • Texas Style Outdoor Room / Kitchen, We like to spend time outdoors but in Houston Texas you need a covered space and pool to keep cool most of the year. We designed our outdoor living space to be an extension of the indoors. It includes a sitting area dining area and outdoor kitchen. We would love to hear what you think!(The palm design over the fireplace is not artwork. It is a flat screen tv cover.), Patios & Decks Design
