  • Cosmopolitan Hall Bath, We remodel our hall bath at the same time we remodled our Master Bed/Bath. Added a total of 66sqft to the house giving us a roomy hall bath with 4x4 showere, jetted tub, toto toilet, granite countertops, travertine tile shower and floor. The square sink was my starting point, I then pick a square tub and the theme was set. I framed some of my travel pictures in frames with squares embossed on them. The mirror matches the picture frames. The bath towels have square designs on them also. Added the geometric candle holder. The faucets are satin nickel Hansgrohe. Also satin nickel cabinet hardware and towel bars. It was a fun bathroom to design., Bathrooms Design

  • Master Bathroom with a View, We recently (finally) renovated / remodeled our master bathroom that had been sitting gutted since the day we bought our house - over 3 1/2 years ago. We finally were able to borrow the lump sum needed to do this massive makeover. The issue with the original bathroom - other than the fact that it was super dated (green wallpaper) and yucky, was that the main drain was cracked and water was leaking to the floor below - into the walls and down to the floor. This is a second story bathroom and below it is the kitchen and dining room. Sadly the previous tenant was using the bathroom even with the broken drain pipes which had caused mold in the walls which we had to get professionally cleaned! Anyway, all that's in the past now and we have a fabulous modern (but comfortable) master bathroom that feels like an expensive hotel / spa and it even has a view of the bay and golden gate bridge!

feel free to follow our blog for the rest of our adventures in home makeover here - http://fixerwithaview.wordpress.com - we even have a blog section about how we almost got onto HGTV's curb appeal - shot the reveal and everything before our project was cancelled., Bathrooms Design

  • Flower Pond Cottage: Master Bathroom, Great place to start! We have a beautifully large master bath with separate vanities but it is absolutely plain right now. The walls are a chocolate brown color with Travertine flooring. All the fixtures are bright silver. It has two entrances to the master closet (one on each side of the shower. Our style is a cross between Pottery Barn, West Elm and comfortable (not cluttered) cottage. Please send me suggestions! Thank you!

  • Sports bath, This is my Ohio State bathroom. The white and gray tile allows the next owner to completely change the scheme of the room just by repainting. The floor has radiant heat. I included a urinal for sports weekends. I tried to make the bench look like an old one from a locker room. I still have some touch-up work to do and will be finishing the main part of the basement soon., Bathrooms Design

  • My Husband's Favorite Project?, I assure you, my husband never had any idea what he was getting himself into when he decided to renovate our VERY 70's master bathroom. Picture orange tile, chocolate brown cabinetry and burgundy-rose mosaic tile covering a sunken (and poured with the foundation) figure-8 shaped tub and you have our old (and we have photos - OLD) bath...now, take a look at what a man with a vision, and a lot of cuts and scrapes, can do...I'm so proud of him ;-), Bathrooms Design

  • Mint and Pink Lady Bathroom Goes Gender Neutral, When we moved into our home our teen age son dubbed this the "mint and pink lady bathroom". He uses this bathroom and is glad that this space has been renovated. I'm happy that this is the last of three bathroom renovations in our 70's era home. This room was a combo of 70's fixtures and mid 80's wall paper. A complete gut job was required due to some plumbing issues that resulted in mold and a serious lack of insulation on an outside wall. My husband, son and I did all the work, with the exception of some electrical work for the jetted tub and the installation of the granite counter top. , Bathrooms Design

  • Finally, my master bath!, This bathroom is long and narrow but the original bathroom was tiny and cramped. We combined two bedrooms to enlarge the master room moved our laundry room upstairs and enlarged the master bath area. • As far as I am concerned: The ULTIMATE bathroom!, 'Converted 2 small bedrooms to a Master Suite in my small Cape Cod house... This bath has the extra deep jacuzzi tub a show w/ bench that is 4'x6' (and several shower heads) heated towel racks "retro" white cabinets and flooring. I take my bubble bath every night watching cable TV -or- chatting on the phone mounted by the tub! Talk about spoiled eh?! The walk-in closet is beyond the shower., Bathrooms Design

  • Our New Bathroom - We did it!!, This turned out to be a HUGE project. We went down to the 2x4's and floor joists and completely started over doing every single step our selves even the plumbing and electrical! We made the new bathroom two feet wider than the old - so it really gave us a lot of space in the new bathroom. It was well worth all of the time and money to have this new bathroom. It is bigger more functional and definitely more modern. , Bathrooms Design

  • Full Bath Remodel, We remodeled this bathroom February 2006. We took everything out and took it down to the studs. My husband and I did this work together and we enjoyed ourselves. This was not our first project together and we did not want to tackle such a huge project on the first time out. We completed it in about 4 weeks total. That may seem like alot but we do have two boys one that was one year old at the time. So with all of that said I hope that everyone likes it I know that we do., Bathrooms Design
