  • Hunting Theme Boys Bedroom, My 15yr old's favorite thing is hunting so naturally he wants to display his trophies. We painted his room a mossy green and bought him bedding in brown colors. One dilema we faced was a large electrical panel right above his bed. To disguise it we made the 3 camo panels, of which the left covers the panel and is very easily removable if we need to get in the panel. Many of the items we used were from garage sales including the artwork. Any comments on how we could improve the room would be much appreciated. Thanks!, Boys' Rooms Design

  • Coopers Hunting Adventure, My hubs painted this room all by himself. He went around the change of color on the wall with an art brush cleaning up the line. The the theme that I'm going for is Forest Friends. I purchased the lanterns, stuffed animal heads, the pillows and stuffed moose on the glider and the glider itself from friends. The log cabin and bird house used to keep the books up were handmade by grandparents. The Cooper blocks on his crib was made by one of my husbands co-workers who did an awesome job at matching the color palette. The "C" is made out of crayons and was only successful because of my artsy sis-in-law. All I need to put up are curtains!!, Nurseries Design

  • Need Advice for Living Room at New House, We're moving to a new home and I am having a hard time figuring out how to position furniture (and the TV!) in the living room. The furniture shown belongs to the former owners. We have a TV about the same size as theirs. I initially thought about mounting it on the left side of the brick fireplace. Furniture we plan to use in the room... sofa, two chairs with ottomans, and a supply of tables, etc to use as needed. We also have a grand piano that I think will look best in front of the bay window. I'd appreciate any advice and opinions! Thanks in advance!, Living Rooms Design

  • Our little dude's ranch!, We chose a cowboy theme for our son's nursery. I did a faux blue jean painting technique on the walls. We installed a chair rail around the room, which I stenciled colorful cowboy pictures above. My mom sewed the window treatments and viola - a fun and inviting baby boy's room was born!, Boys' Rooms Design
