  • Reed's Nursery Rhyme Nursery, This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child. , Nurseries Design

  • Humpty Dumpty, Half of this room is light blue for day and the other is darker for night. The transition occurs above the shelf over the window. There is wainscoting at chair height so that the mural doesn't over power the room., Nurseries Design

  • Nursery Rhyme Time, This is my son's fairytale nursery rhyme nursery. I knew exactly what nursery rhymes I wanted depicted & where I wanted them painted on the yellow walls. I did, however, hire a professional to actually paint the murials. The cow jumping over the moon is painted on the ceiling above his crib. This is my favorite room in my house and I think it's his too!!

  • The 12-Gauge Garage, This is a two-car garage that I re-did in order to function as a place I could do carpentry, metal fabrication and also maintenance on my weekend car, a 1972 Porsche 911. I did all of the work myself, only spending about $3,500 for the whole deal, including the flooring, cabinets, workbenches and the in-ground hydraulic lift. Virtually everything in the place is second-hand, re-purposed or home-made. I call it the 12-Gauge Garage because that's the thickness of the steel in the second-hand Strong Hold cabinets I use for tool storage. The shelves in those cabinets are each rated to hold 1,900 pounds -- which is ridiculous and awesome at the same time. , Garages Design

  • Baby Boy, Passing on things from one generation to the next need not be limited to the Chritening gown alone. Using nursery items that bring with them a history of happy memories is a great way to create a baby space with special meaning and style., Nurseries Design
