These are photos of the main living area(s of my home. The space is definitely Tuscan inspired, but like all of my designs I try to balance the space with tasteful, quality furnishing and accessories that fit the space appropriately, instead of overcrowding the space with every Tuscan thing I could find. Some of the pieces were custom made, but most were store bought.
The foyer mirror was originally a different color, so in order to make it fit I painted it with gold and oil rubbed bronze spray paint and coated it with a flat varnish to finish it off. I usually have a real palm in the foyer, but it is the middle of winter and I can't find anywhere! My last one had a centipede nest in the root of the plant so needless to say it couldn't stay in the house! It took me a week to figure out where those things were coming from!
I recently updated flooring upstairs as well as the railing on the steps which used to be white wooden spindles. In order to replace the railing I had to also replace the entire staircase! So to save a little bit of money I did the staining myself (what a pain!. I hope you guys enjoy the space!

This kitchen has a new 17 foot high ceiling. Kitchen is small with original cabinets. Saltillo tile needs to stay because it flows into great room and laundry room. Uneven walls old cabinets/appliances. Original scarred laminate counter top/back splash all need help. And paint color too. This kitchen is loaded with charm but needs a major over haul or just a face lift would be ok too.

Living room connected to the foyer and open to the upstairs hall. It is also connected to the dinning area and we'd like it to be connected to the kitchen as well. It has high ceilings and a fireplace and tall windows.

My townhomeliving room opens up all the way to the ceiling on the second floor, resulting in the room appearing to be more spacious than it really is. Picture taken from my second floor looking down onto the room.

I have a purple and grey themed Master bedroom. I have a faux painted silver foil looking wall behind the bed. I am up for any suggestions you have to improve it and my master bath definately needs help. It has the typical standard shower/bath combo liner- and not a lot of space. I am thinking of tiling the flooring and countertops. I would love some inexpensive suggestions!
