  • Remodeled, do-it-yourself kitchen on a budget, Hickory spice kitchen cabinets island granite countertops glass tile backsplash pendant lighting & built in banquette.  We were working with a tight budget and did about 90% of  the work ourselves from design to installation. Estimated savings of about $7000 in labor costs.  It's a small kitchen but I think we've made the most of the space.Answering questions: cabinets are Shenandoah cabinetry Hickory Spice square.   • HELP Please, This room has a green countertop.  I don't want to paint the cabinets.  I'm trying to avoid painting the sink a different color.  This room looks outdated to me.   • Log Home in North GA Mountains, In 2003 my husband and I embarked on the building of our dream retirement log lodge home and garage that we designed. The home is built from 10-inch Swedish cope Eastern white pine logs. Garage is standard frame construction. 18 months later it was as "finished" as it could be.   • my tennessee kitchen remodel, this was our kitchen in our 1970's home.  I designed the remodel as well as picked all the new cabinets floors textures.  It opened up our whole first floor and made use of unusable space. We included electric floor dust pans on either side of the island as well as space saving cabinet ideas such as drawer cabinet to right of stove for pots/pans/lids and spice pantry to left of stove for easy access to spices. the pantry wall has 12" shelves so items dont' get lost and are easy to find. , Kitchens Design
