  • Family Room, Cozy and Warm, Come on in I'll put a fire in the fireplace and you can grab that fuzzy soft throw and we'll curl up on the sofa for a good movie. Or do you feel like snuggling in with a good book...there are some good mysteries here on the shelf. This room is covered in judges paneling so I decided to go with a "hunt" theme using lots of jewel tones. Hope you enjoy the tour and please come visit me at:, Living Rooms Design

  • Tiny Bedroom Makeover on even tighter budget, This bedroom was used for storage until we decided to rent the room out furnished. I've had one week to remove all the clutter paint buy furniture and accessories and put together a design for the tiny room/bath. I decided on a contemporary space with pale blue walls dark furniture and glass accent pieces. I can't put to much of a personal touch on the room as it is a rental now. I did splurge on the light fixtures however. Thanks for viewing., Bedrooms Design

  • Simple, bright spa-inspired bath, This bathroom is in the downstairs level of our tri-level. It was awful before and I wish I would've thought to take before pictures. With no budget for a remodel I used flea-market finds and 3 colors of paint to update the space. The sink countertop is goldish-yellow the shower is gold and the toilet was cream so I had to go through a couple of colors before I found something that I was happy with. The paint is Light Pistachio by Benjamin Moore and I'm pretty sure I used the eggshell finish., Bathrooms Design

  • Awkward living room, The living room has an awkward layout with a sectional sofa that we have split up, a railing around two walls, an outdated entertainment center (in my opinion) and light fixture, and one wall that is half a spindal wall. The doorway to the laundry room is also hard to work around. Dimensions of the room are aprx. 21ftx12ft, Living Rooms Design

  • Cheery Basement Bathroom, We just finished hiring contractors to remodel our upstairs bathrooms and decided to tackle the basement bathroom all on our own. This DIY project, costing under $1,000, involved removing linoleum on the floor, putting in large rectangular ceramic tile on the floor; putting up wainscoting; and installing a new vanity, toilet, mirror, medicine cabinet, lights, and all new fixtures. We chose Rapture Blue paint color by Sherwin-Williams to brighten up the space and used Behr Swiss Coffee paint for the wainscoting and ceiling. The space went from drab white walls and country theme basement bathroom, to bright and cheery spa blue. One of our favorite little touches was the concealed medicine cabinet. , Bathrooms Design

  • boring basement before, Awesome office after, Before it didn't really have a purpose. We went to Florida and it inspired me to give this room a beachy feel and turn it into a home office for my photography business. Still not finished, I am looking for some unique storage for my supplies that are slid under the table. Also I have another picture to hang behind the desk but I am waiting for the frame to dry. Everything in this room that is white, I painted. I also painted the anchor and the compass on the wall. , Basements Design
