  • Bohemian Sanctuary, This is our ever-changing work of art on a very limited budget. The DVD cases are recycled wine crates. The patchwork fireplace "screen" is made by me with recycled fabric/sari scraps. I am wanting to get something else to hang over the fireplace but not sure what. (The space heater is far enough away from the fabric!) This is our favorite room in the house to chill and throw parties as it's small but very cozy! Please give constructive critique on how to better the room. , Living Rooms Design

  • Bedroom for the Four of us!, Actually it's me and hubby plus our 2 pups! Hubby made the nightstands; I recovered all the chairs and did the 'art piece' hanging above the chairs with paint joint compound and silver leaf. The hanging lanterns are a holdover from our previous design and while I know they are not the ideal compliment to the current modern look I paid a price for them and really still love them so they will HANG around a while longer. Walls are stuccoed (by me!) painted a light cream. , Bedrooms Design

  • How Suite It Is, Our Master Bedroom and Ensuite are finally done! It has truly been a labor of love for us and we are so pleased with the results. Our Inspiration came from the headboard we made from exotic wood screens. From there we created the bedside lighting from Moroccan style lanterns. To pull it all together we found an amazing rock sink. By combining two rooms we created a large open space with an exotic hotel feel that includes a cozy sitting area. The ensuite boasts a wonderful double shower that reminds us of some of the beautiful hotels we have visited., Bedrooms Design

I want to finish the paper lamps to go with the room. i also plan to refinish the night stand in cherry or go out side the box with a metal gold finish. • French Parisian Girl's Nursery, This nursery was initially designed as a gender neutral nursery as the client was in the process of adopting a baby and wasn't sure if she was going to get a baby boy or a baby girl. Once a birth mother was selected and we found out she was having a girl, we added sweet feminine touches to make a sophisticated french inspired nursery. The client loves Paris and everything French and the rest of her home reflects her love of french decor, so the theme for the nursery was evident! We selected 100% dupioni silk bedding, chose beautiful French themed nursery wall art and added sweet gems and jewels to the nursery wall hanging and canvases. The pink poodle rocking animal was a fun and playful touch and the mocha crystal nursery chandelier is accented with a hand made chandelier ceiling medallion that says "Anything is Possible"...a phrase the mom-to-be used during one of our conversations about her adoption process. I found that quite fitting for this wonderful love story!
