  • Patio Party with Lizzy...aka uninvited guest!!, I received inspiration from a simple bouquet of gerber daisies then set out to paint the patio with a splash of color. Check out the uninvited guest, Lizzy the sand lizard, who appeared on my rattan chair armrest to oversee my tablescape work...photos 2 and 15!, Patios & Decks Design

  • Contemporary Class, My living room and dining room are only separated by a half wall panel. I've switched my two areas to having a bigger dining space as I entertain often. It has turned out nicely because the living is room is now more cozy and gets more use. The dining room table was the inspiration piece and the 2 color combination of the dining room chairs. The button backed chairs remind me of the art deco period. I started buying second hand furniture for side tables and other pieces and refurbished and painted them black to match the frame of the chairs., Living Rooms Design

  • Granny Apple Green/Black/Ivory French Country Bedroom to love, What I loved most about my bedroom when I first moved in was the great views of the trees outside surrounding my windows so I decided to keep the windows pretty viewable at all times and bring in the bright green from the outside in. I also liked the idea of making simple branch art in DIY lace mason jars and keeping plants such as a little spruce and some pink potted tea roses in the windows. I wanted to use a lot of natural elements. My walls and tile floors are beige and I accented with ivory trimming and white trimming. Black is my beau's favorite color so I wanted to incorporate that color with a rug, bed skirt, and smaller accents. I love the black with the bright green and beige. Of course my cats had to be in my pictures because really, they complete my room ! Anyway, hope you like my bedroom :), Bedrooms Design

  • Shabby Apple Dining Room, I have been contemplating what color to paint my kitchen. I love the Shabby Chic look but I also love the apple color. So with other great rate my space inspirations - I took the plunge.. painting my dining room with the apple / cream stripes. I had already painted my table black to accent my dark cherry cupboards. I trimmed my space in the black toile. I still need a rug for under the table any ideas??? and I intend to add a crystal chandelier. Thanks for looking, Hope you like

  • Country Kitchen, Me and my husband bought our first home and it was a foreclosed double wide on almost two acres. We got it for a steal but the place was a wreck and a gutted kitchen (well gutted everything for that matter) awaited us. We did everything ourselves so it is not perfect but if you can give me any feedback on curtains and tile colors for backsplash it would be appreciated. We wanted to make the home feel country and I love apples so my kitchen is done in apple theme and I used a lighter sage green on the walls to make all the red stand out in my decorations. I have light brown diamond chipped counter tops and it really turned out good in person. Please just leave feedback and help me out;-) I'm only 22 and really needed more experienced peoples opinions...thanks , Kitchens Design

  • Living Room With Big Window, The west wall of our living gives us a huge amount of sunlight, but curtains must be drawn in the afternoon. Ignore the curtains in the picture! They're just to keep the sun out until I can get some other drapes up depending on what we do to decorate the living room., Living Rooms Design
