  • Eclectic Dining Banquette, Open Dining Area - Adjacent to Kitchen Island: Great additional seating that can be used as formal or informal. A round glass table makes for wonderful traffic flow, takes up less physical and visual space. Found Banquette at Home Goods (wrong color) and made slip cover to match color scheme. Table base purchased separately in a clearance room and (2) large round beveled glass top., Dining Rooms Design

  • INDOOR GARDEN ROOM, It's no secret - Arizona is HOT. And I don't mean South Beach HOT. I mean dry desert heat hot. Some east coasters coming from the tropics may miss some of the outdoor living of days gone by. I know for sure we do - including our cat Sephora. We would spend mornings with coffee, afternoons reading or gardening, and evenings grilling and relaxing outside on our patio - which when we left Florida, was nothing like when we first moved in. It took time to live in the space, figure out what we wanted and how we wanted it, and of course, a budget to consider. Even though we're renting, those same considerations applied when I created our indoor garden room. Read the details from paint color, to process, to thrift finds on my blog Focal Point Styling here: http://nyclq-focalpoint.blogspot.com/2012/05/creating-indoor-garden-room.html, Gardens Design

  • Take Me To The Beach, Took a tired 90's Master Bathroom and turned it into an oasis. Took out the tiled garden jacuzzi tub that took up half the room, old cabinets, fiberglass shower, gold fixtures and carpet on the floors. Replaced with spiffy wood floors, soaking tub, individual sinks with granite tops and brushed nickle accents. The shower/toilet area has a tiled floor and tile shower to the ceiling and a new efficient chair height toilet. I did most of the demo work, all the painting and bought all the products at my home improvement store, ebay and online. The walls are a pale light blue with white wainscotting throughout., Bathrooms Design

The wall is vertical lines hiding larger prep space and appliance, it is broken off by a shelf unit with 24k gold leaf. Hood and lighting is build in to the celing so it doesn't obstruct the view. • Master bedroom, I created this space using warm jewel tones in green, purple ,red and gold. I combined different textures for depth. I also combined old with new for visual appeal. I'm not sure what type of window treatment to use. I was thinking of a wood blind with no other treatment. I would appreciate any suggestions. , Bedrooms Design

  • Master Bathroom, The ultimate in blue and white classic spa design. I used a combination of blue paint on the walls; white DeWils vanity; white porcelain sinks; chrome Moen fixtures; Cambria quartz ("Torquay" on the countertop, top of half walls and window sill - which is an understated cream complemented by swirls of gray and tan); Artistic Tile forms the wall art (white marble and Calacatta Gold marble seamless tile); Swarovski crystals interspersed with white glass tiles in the tub surround; and white marble porcelain tiles on the shower walls and floor. The Swarovski crystal chandelier in chrome over the bathtub in front of the London shade completes the look. It's an elegant bath - definitely my "personal" space where I go to relax and enjoy life!, Bathrooms Design

  • Formal Dining Room Turned Home Office, We decided to turn our underused formal dining room into a home office. We combined new furniture & decor with some thrift store finds that we made-over ourselves. We are really happy with the overall design & storage we have now!

Most of the items are from Home Goods/TJ Maxx, Target, IKEA, Michael's, & thrift stores.
