  • Church Nursery, We calmed down a 1960s intense yellow to a soothing palette of Sherwin-Williams Saffron Thread Cay Frolic Hep Green and Ancestral Gold. Ancestral Gold was our base and neutral color. The greens were used to make the stripes on two of the walls. Cay was used to create the plaid walls using glaze. The long floor-to-ceiling curtains are for the privacy of the mothers and sleeping babies., Nurseries Design

  • Victorian wrap-around porch, The #2 reason we purchased this old house (the #1 reason being the interior front stairway). This is one of my favorite places to wile away the hours with a good book or stack of magazines. It's a lovely place to squander one's potential :) , Porches Design

  • Abigail's Oasis :), After having 2 wonderful little boys my husband and I have been blessed with a little girl due to arrive 4/8/09. Since I had to come out of work early due to medical circumstances our budget (about $500) was limited but with a little diy attitude and alot of clearance shopping... We were able to create this modern oasis for our little princess. My husband did all the work himself including refinishing all the furniture. (Except the crib - a gift from grandma and grandpa). In the end we hope she enjoys this room as much as we do., Nurseries Design

  • Romantic old glam, Dining room I created with red venetian plaster walls and red/gold plaster ceiling with embedded art to separate colors. Silk drapes I made and the original chandelier to the house from 1923 that I funkied up with some new lamp shades and beaded trims for pillows. The dining chairs had no cushions so I stapled foam, fabric and trim.. fun fun room., Dining Rooms Design
