  • Horizontal Stripes and Polka Dots for Girls: Pink, Teal, Lime, Tan, Two little princesses started with a plain light gray room. With the purchase of new bunk beds & new polka dot bedding, we needed something girly to jazz up the new space. We taped off horizontal stripes to coordinate, and the attached bath uses polka dots in the coordinating colors and the same princess theme. It uses bubble gum pink, lime green, light teal/turquoise, and tan/khaki. The wall of baskets was pricey but is invaluable storage for toys and such. The whole project was kid-friendly and fun and on a budget., Girls' Rooms Design

  • Pink Paradise-desk area and some shelves added, The room is complete at last! The furniture (beds and desk) are handmade by a proffessional based on my designs and the shelves are from IKEA. The wall stripes and mural are painted by me, as well as all the paintings and plates on the walls, the hangers, the lampshade and the desk chair. I did a lot of work in that room, but the happy faces of my girls proof me that it was worth it!, Girls' Rooms Design

  • Lulu's new bedroom, This room went from being a bonus room that my husband used to do yoga and guitar jamming in to being our daughter's bedroom! The best part about this room is that it probably cost less than $200 for everything you see here. The crib was a hand-me-down the rest from garage sales: wicker table $3 all baby bedding $6 bookcase $5 etc., Nurseries Design

  • Wild Girly Girl's Room, Fun room I designed for my teenage sister-in-law. She loves it. It started out as a pale yellow empty room and now it's a fun place for her and her friends to hang out. We took a regular plain white dresser and dressed up each drawer differently in fabric feathers and paint. This was a really fun project!, Girls' Rooms Design

  • Pretty in Pink (repost), This room seemed destined to become a 'catch-all' for anything and everything. It was floor-to-ceiling filled with 'stuff'! So two years ago I rolled up my sleeves cleared it out and made it into my 'girly-girl' guestroom -- it's my little 'hideout'! :) The quilt that I used as the headboard was made for me by my mother and was the 'inspiration' for the room. Hope these pics are a little clearer than my earlier post :) , Bedrooms Design
