  • William's Nursery, We fell in love with the bunny bedding wandering around Babies R Us before we even knew if we were having a boy or a girl and everything came off of that. We wanted a nursery that we could be happy in as well as the little one and we have definitely achieved that. I LOVE this room and have already started to think about how to transition it to be a 2 kid room when the time comes without having to redo everything! Everything was done budget friendly - the economy has not been kind to us - so keeping costs low was key.   • Riley's pink and green nursery, I wanted a space that was unique and sweet for our first baby girl. So I painted a diamond pattern with two shades of pink and roses at each point. I chose pink white and green for the fabrics. I painted the dresser white with green panels on the side and each drawer a different pattern. On the windows and on the canopy I used sheer panels with white ebroidered polka dots.   • Molly's sunshine filled sunroom, This is our...well technically Molly the bunny's sunroom. This is where she spends her days. We let her loose when we are home to watch her and the dogs are on the deck. She loves to lay on top of the air conditioning vents and to sit on the sofa to look out on her kingdom.   • Modern Baby Boy nursery on a Budget! , We wanted a Modern Boy nursery that looked design quality without the high designer cost.....our total cost including all supplies and furniture was under $800! The ceiling pieces were cut from 5/8" plywood and painted to match the block wall. We gave the look of crown molding by taping and painting to create this illusion. We were inspired by another design we found and improved upon it to fit our own style and taste. We used no VOC paint throughout and organic bedding. , Nurseries Design

  • Elegant Girl Nursery, This nursery was designed by my mother and me. This room was planned with a small budget and no professional help. Everything was painted and made ourselves. The bedding was made of remnants of fabric from "The Cotton Patch." We had a very small space to work with but we had a great time doing it! The nursery is painted peach with gold damask stenciled walls. The crib is a venetian gold canopy with custom gold and cream satin and silk bedding. An antique white armoire sits in the corner lined with pink toile fabric. A personalized "A" is painted on the wooden cornice board that tops the window. Underneath are cream shears for curtains. Gold and peach hand-painted sconces hang on each side of the closet door. The peach gerber daisies that frame the mirror add a whimsical touch to the elegant room. A simple cream minky dot chair is in another corner of the room with a peach silk and white lace pillow where a cute bunny sits. The area rug is made of flowers in a soft cream and tan. Hanging on the peach walls are two small canvases with paintings of topiaries in scrolled urns and sweet birds and bunnies. , Nurseries Design
