Our Master Bedroom and Ensuite are finally done! It has truly been a labor of love for us and we are so pleased with the results. Our Inspiration came from the headboard we made from exotic wood screens. From there we created the bedside lighting from Moroccan style lanterns. To pull it all together we found an amazing rock sink. By combining two rooms we created a large open space with an exotic hotel feel that includes a cozy sitting area. The ensuite boasts a wonderful double shower that reminds us of some of the beautiful hotels we have visited.

This bath is a renovation from a "builder's design" from the mid-90's. This bath is located directly off of the master bedroom and is the access to the master closet. We gutted and re-arranged the bath layout. We also enlarged the closet as much as we could by creating a faux wall in the adjacent home office.

Part of my condo renovation still in progress, this dark and dingy bathroom went from two small functional but boring compartments to a striking contemporary space. See my other RMSpaces for rooms I have updated so far.

"Go big." That was our motto when we got rid of the moldy old shower stall and put in an open, doorless shower that is wide open, fully tiled and a snap to keep clean.View more details at http://www.picklesandwine.com/?p=99

A youth's sports-themed bathroom needed a Big Boy update!. This Jack-n-Jill bathroom had to service both Guests and our family alike. Our DIY project for this bathroom would transform it to an updated yet Traditional Bathroom design with elegant spa-like touches!

We used iridescent glass tile and a matt porcelain tile from floor to ceiling. The marble mosaic mural completes the spa like feel. Colors remain neutral so as not to overwhelm the small space but different textures and tile size add interest. The floor cabinet is a converted buffet and the towel bars mounted under the counter are telescopic pant hangers. The dark lines in the lighting mirror those of the mural reflected in the mirror just below. We love it.

I did this shower myself. It features a polished pebblestone mosaic of a floor-to-ceiling tree that wraps 3 walls. The background tile is cafe rainforest. The shower is frameless glass so that the tree is the feature of the entire bath

After finding mold behind some loose tiles, my husband and I ripped everything out and started over. We tore out the vinyl shower pan and used instructions online to build a new one.... The only part of this job that we didn't tackle ourselves was the installation of our new antique glass shower stall!
