  • Seaside Inspired Master Bath, I love my new bathroom! I completely gutted this room down to the studs at the same time I renovated the kitchen. • Small Bathroom , We had no room in this old bathroom which was in need of an update. It was like a tunnel when you entered. As you entered you walked by a built-in closet on the left, you couldn't reach the light switch until you were halfway in. The sink vanity was the 1980's style: took up valuable space of the room. The tub and curtain made you feel closed in even more, as if you were in a space of only 3'. The utility style door which offers no lighting goes out to the patio. It really needed a re-do. I was embarrassed for anyone to use this room. P.S. My husband and I are not professionals, we designed this ourselves, selected the colors and tiles ourselves, and did all the work ourselves. You can do it, just take your time and think it out, look on the web for ideas and get a lot of texture and color samples. We are glad we did., Bathrooms Design

  • Master Bathroom Renovation, Master bath cabinet renovation using Rustoleum's Cabinet Transformations in Espresso w/the optional glaze. Then gutted the shower surround to the studs and installed a Kerdi shower system. Sparkling glass/travertine/marble mosaic tiles and new fixtures transformed space. A frameless glass shower enclosure is the "piece de resistance." A crinkled tissue paper technique and taupey-gray paint, new linens, rugs and accessories (mostly from Home Decor) completed the room!, Bathrooms Design

  • Niches Bring a Little Bling to a Small Master Bath, Drizzled with chocolate accents against a calm neutral pallet made this little master bathroom large in size. Originally, the bathroom had wide red and pink striped walls and a country border around the tub. When we didn't have the budget for a complete bathroom makeover we attempted to remove the stripes and paint the walls red. But the drastic change came after we picked out a neutral color pallet, added splashes of glass mosiacs and chocolate browns, created some custom niches throughout the space for hidden surprises, and made a large custom mirror. We used large rectangular tiles that looked like expensive travertine. The cheap sliding glass shower door was replaced with an extremely tall nearly frameless shower door. We added a glass pocket door for the entry and we took down the walls to the teeny water closet. Before pictures are at the end of the remodel pictures., Bathrooms Design

  • A Work In Progress - Master Bath, Updating the original 1987 polished brass/monster tub Master Bath. There will be a free standing tub in the bay window space (first one sent was broken, waiting another 3 weeks for delivery of a new one), and the shower will be enclosed with frameless glass. I'm thinking about using an area rug on the floor instead of individual bath rugs, to make it seem more like an extension of the Master bedroom., Bathrooms Design
