  • Seaside Inspired Master Bath, I love my new bathroom! I completely gutted this room down to the studs at the same time I renovated the kitchen. Tried to evoke 'beach' without being overtly beachy. And if this room is 'sand' my master bedroom is definitely 'sea.' Take a look!, Bathrooms Design

  • Small Bathroom , We had no room in this old bathroom which was in need of an update. It was like a tunnel when you entered. As you entered you walked by a built-in closet on the left, you couldn't reach the light switch until you were halfway in. The sink vanity was the 1980's style: took up valuable space of the room. The tub and curtain made you feel closed in even more, as if you were in a space of only 3'. The utility style door which offers no lighting goes out to the patio. It really needed a re-do. I was embarrassed for anyone to use this room. P.S. My husband and I are not professionals, we designed this ourselves, selected the colors and tiles ourselves, and did all the work ourselves. You can do it, just take your time and think it out, look on the web for ideas and get a lot of texture and color samples. We are glad we did., Bathrooms Design

Then gutted the shower surround to the studs and installed a Kerdi shower system. Sparkling glass/travertine/marble mosaic tiles and new fixtures transformed space.
