Oh what fun! I am so glad to be here today sharing photos from my latest project, baby VictorâÂÂs nursery. The space feels so airy, but cozy. There is a beautiful texture wall made from wood and white 3D wall tiles. A little bit of green, some gray and a touch of red brings life to the space. The room is a continuation of the design style of my home. But here it has a whimsical feel. With lion and horse figures, animal art prints, and a fox decal, this nursery is a woodland heaven.
Here is a list of where you can find all the lovely items in this nursery:

- Curtains: Pottery Barn
- Red V Metal Letter: Pottery Barn Teen

A black and white room with hints of red here and there. Modern and personal, as well as inexpensive and easy, is what this room is all about. There are my favorite quotes on the walls along with my own framed artwork.

A hand painted thangka painting, brought back from India was the inspiration piece for this guestroom. A warm, grey-green color was pulled from the painting for our walls. A boldly carved headboard in a red-brown color, and fine cotton drapery with a had embroidery design, adds to our theme. Six photos of our trip to India framed in bright white, pop off the earthy paint color.

I decided to use a mix of my favorite design styles....Old World Tuscan and Mediterranean....to decorate this basement living/dining room (and soon to be- officespace. I also injected a little bit of Moroccan Indian and Indonesian influences into this entertainment space.....for a little bit of SPICE! It's still a work in progress...just wanted some input on how I'm doing so far!!

This room is a blend of neutral and bold wall colors with a mix of soft and hard textures throughout the space. There is a blend of classic and ethnic artwork. I'm proud of the coffee table and TV cabinet because I put in a lot of love and hard work into these pieces. Enjoy!

I wanted to incorporate my love of London into my room so I combined photographs with art that I created inspired by the graphic designs of the flags and underground symbol. The color palette clean lines and elements like under-shelf lighting remind me of the sleek modern elements of that awesome city!

My husband and I remodel my son’s bathroom. We removed and replaced the outdated tile and wallpaper. We also took out the light fixture and installed a more modern fixture. Then we added the accessories such as some framed artwork. We added a new shower curtain and here is the finished project. We worked as a team of first-timers on the wallpapering the tiled floor and the light fixture. We are very pleased with the finished product.

Baby girl nursery with bright pink, lime, and turquoise in happy floral theme with little garden bug accents. Also incorporates Fisher Price Rainforest accessories.
From early on, I knew I didn't want a traditional pale pink girl nursery. I wanted something happy and bright.
I really wanted to do lime and turquoise and ideally I was hoping to do it in florals, but most of the sets I found were very boyish. I actually ordered 3 crib sets and sent them back before I found one that had the right shades and colors that I was looking for. From there, I searched for coordinating fabrics and accessories to personalize the space and really tie my colors together. It ended up including pink after all, but a very bright happy pink which fit nicely with what I had in mind.
I spent $1,000 on the furniture and about another $500 in paint and decor. But my parents bought a few things for the room and my best friend paid for the custom made window treatments and a few other things. So in total, we probably have about $2,000-$2,200 in the room.
She's 7 months old now and LOVES her room! She's loves looking around at all the bright colors and accessories.

Master bedroom with tons of budget friendly ideas. Because the mixture of old and new and the unique peices found in antique shops and auctions over the years it is timeless. The room was built 12 years ago on the 1865 farmhouse. Changing decorative pillows and buying a new lamp or two the room can be freshened up easily. I change the bedding with the blankets and sheets beings mix and matchable every time I change the sheets. I have collected some of these things over 30 years. In another house they can be used in different ways. The sheets are stored under the bed in baskets. I had the bed custom made a bit higher to allow for the storage baskets under it. We all have our favorite things.. I hope you like mine.!
