  • Flea Market Flip, This was a sad rusty piece that was once a flea market purchase that was left out in the yard to hold a planter..It was brought to my attention and I spruced it up so now it will be put outside and catch many eyes as people go through or by the yard..I am currently looking for one or two like pieces to transform into lamp tables or outdoor side tables...Will fill the center with colorful wax chips and crystal beads..and when they melt the beads should glimmer through.., Yards Design

  • FIghtin conformity, I really didn't want the tv being the focal point on the room. To everyones objection I chose to set the couch in the proposed dining room. I have yet to buy a dining table (I'm more of an antique thrift girl and haven't had much luck). Any comments on how to arrange the furniture or redo somethings is desired!, Living Rooms Design

  • Colorful Eclectic..Big Impact, Small Budget., My pocket book wasn't big enough to knock down walls…so I got creative with color and flea market bargains. Best purchase in the room is the shelf I created from an old piano the piece only $2 at an auction. It doubles as a bar ledge and combined with the bar created out of a built-in storage closet entertaining is a snap. I used my creativity and made the doors shelves wine boxes and glass racks. Accessories throughout are flea market and yard sale finds from the lamps to the artwork. , Living Rooms Design

  • Re-do your space with Flea market finds!, I love this table with the 4 chairs that I found at a Catholic charities. It was white with some kind of wall border glued on top. I got my inspiration from some vintage table cloth that I bought at the flea market. I love the old vintage colors. They are so vibrant! This particular cloth had yellow roses and charcoal grey leaves. So my husband helped recover these shabby chic chairs with one table cloth! We painted the top charcoal grey chalk paint and used a clear wax to coat the top. I didn't re-paint the chairs because I myself like this look, I just cleaned them. I hope you like this table and it will inspire you to do your own project. I paid $75 for the table and $15 for the table cloth. , Dining Rooms Design
