I love purple and can't get enough of it! My room is filled with shades of purple, fairies, and flowers. I added silver shimmery glitter to one accent wall and to my nightstand that I decoupaged. My homemade curtains have glitter in them also. All three places are hightlighted by lighting that causes the glitter to sparkle for a magical touch. All of the funiture in my room was free! One of my favorite unique touches is on the bed. It is the bottom of a bunk bed, so I added vines from the post holes! I love the cottagy feel the room has which is enhanced by the low sloping ceiling on the north wall. I have fairies and mermaids everywhere.
I love my recycled pictures frames that I made from shredded junk mail and painted green for a "grassy" look. The room didn't have a closet, so I took an old bookshelf that was given to me and turned it into a make-shift closet. Added peel and stick hooks and covered the front with a fuzzy, purple curtain that I made.

This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child.

I hand painted this room for my 7 yr. old girl so she can enjoy playing make believe in her room. My inspiration came from a unique throne chair that I found from a local furniture store. I used wooden flower boxes for cornices on each window and I framed her art work to make her feel part of the room. It was the little girl in me that seemed to blossom on this project.

This is my daughter's room. I hand painted all the walls and the ceiling. I designed the bed that my husband and father built which I also painted. I wanted her to feel like a small fairy in a secret garden!

Old space was taken down to the studs and rebuilt. Old space was a U shaped space that was very tiny. Removed the wall between the kitchen and mud room to increase kitchen size. Have an amazing island and I built barn style doors for my new pantry.

This redesigned bath was originally plane and rather boring. We added a wood crafted antique style double sink vanity with new silver trimmed mirrors aged pewter faucets matching aged pewter hardware throughout. Classic rustic lighting fixtures above the sink with marbled glass. It has been painted a satin yellow "Tabby" with Dutch Boy paints. Accented with bronzed shelving orange hugh towels and accessories and classic fantasy art works. Simple yet elegant with a classic touch.

This was a junk room and my precious nephew remodeled with new windows tin ceiling handcrafted wainscoting Fireplace is eletric and really heats up this small room. Let me know what you think. We all love it!!
