  • Reed's Nursery Rhyme Nursery, This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child. , Nurseries Design

  • Wild Wild West Patio of the Rockies, Original deck built from original owners of the home back in the 80's. This deck desperately needs a modern city makeover that can tie in with the gorgeous view of the Rockies! It obviously is too small for the family of 4 to use as is, with a needed eating area, bbq area, seasonal pool/play area for the boys and still give Mommy a much needed outdoor retreat. Don't know what else to do but rip it out and start over. We just put in retaining concrete walls and concrete edging, so those have to stay. Everything ELSE can go up to the Rocky Mountains!! Big blue object is children's swim pool and large brown rectangular box is outdoor toy box storage., Patios & Decks Design

  • HELP! What do I do with these NICHES??, Niches and large "shelf" area in foyer and over front door need HELP! The paint color is Rose Whisper (white with hint of rose) white crown molding and mahogany/dark cherry door & floors. Some type of faux painting perhaps? Just hang some simple single-flower paintings? See my other rooms: it shouldn't be too "busy".. THANKS!, Living Rooms Design

  • FENG SHUI MASTER SUITE, Elaborate fabric and lacy panels provide an illusion of clouds behind this queen sized bed. Also the half of a chandelier mounted on the wall behind the bed create good Feng Shui for this particular Master Suite. , Bedrooms Design

  • Hate My Space- Master Bedroom, Our master bedroom suite has not changed a bit since the day we moved into our home 5 years ago. We have meticulously decorated most of the other rooms in our home to reflect our personal style (funky, warm and elegant). We left our master bedroom for last because nobody really sees it. The flaw in that plan it that WE see it everyday for much of the day. Mud brown walls are not very inspiring first thing in the morning. Honestly, it looks like completely different people live in our bedroom than the rest of the house….it’s that disconnected. This suite consists of four separate yet connected spaces: the bedroom with a large bay window is connected to a good sized sitting room through a clunky 3-sided fireplace (with missing tile) and there is also a small empty dressing area which leads into the master bathroom (which is in desperate need of a new paint/wallpaper job due to water marker on dark brown paint). Unfortunately, due to a serious medical illness in our family concerning our dear 9 year old son, everything in our lives was put on hold...one of the least important being the plans to begin to decorate our master bedroom. Also, due to this event we find ourselves mostly on the second floor of our home and we use our master now more than ever. This room has become an upstairs family room to our family. Now that things are beginning to turn around- I have some very vivid ideas about what I’d like to see for this room but currently don’t have the time, energy and means to accomplish it during our tight schedule. I will elaborate more under each picture. Any ideas/help would be appreciated!, Bedrooms Design

  • Master Disaster, This is supposed to be our relaxing master suite. To keep a long story short,we added on to have extra room for our future daughter we plan to adopt. Then we got a bad contractor, whom left us with uneven floors, leaking roof, lien on house, and unfinished job with no money left. So this space is an odd layout, with a woodstove that can't be moved and a tub next to it. I was wanting built in bookcases and lots of elaborate moldings and trim. However now we must make the best of what we have on very little cash. So any ideas you have feel free to share. Just please no harsh critism,i know it looks bad, lets focus on the positive and help motivate us to make it look better for less than $100!, Bedrooms Design
