  • Slate "Zen Dragon Castle" Bath, We remodeled our master bath, which previously had white tile, carpet, and a fiberglass shower, into our dream bathroom!! We used multicolor slate tile of varying sizes, beautiful Jurassic Green granite countertops, glass block windows, a Bain-Ultra air-jet tub, Kohler sinks, Minka Lavery Dakota lighting & brushed nickel Grohe lavatory and tub fixtures. A pebble floor in the 4' X 6' walk-in shower with brushed nickel Kohler shower system featuring five showerheads including rainshowers completes our gorgeous bath. Contractor John N. Riley, et al, [especially Beard's Custom Cabinets, Ron Green's Ceramic Designs Granite, and Sean Coleman Tile], made our dream bath come true. We are starstruck!! Can't believe we finally did it!!, Bathrooms Design

  • Daddy's Lil Princesses, my new baby and her 4 year old step sister share a room - wanted it to be girly but not TOO pink - love the themes but not too over the top - and finally I wanted it to be comfortable and not too fussy - so the girls can play dress up and not worry about messing anything up., Girls' Rooms Design

  • Karate Room on a Budget, My 8 year old son wanted to upgrade from "little boy" trucks and we wanted something that would last for awhile. He is a 6th level green belt so a karate room was the perfect solution. We used paint to add impact including the Chinese symbol for dragon (his birth year) which we projected on the wall to paint (as I don't know Chinese at all!). We spent $200 at Ikea for the fun desk duvay covers curtains and the rug. The entire room cost $250 PLUS my free labor. He LOVES it! We LOVE it!, Boys' Rooms Design

  • Red Dragon Modern Kitchen, Open, light-filled and efficient kitchen with red dragon granite. We have shades-in-glass for the view and sunlight. I was able to include my dream of a "plant sink," and a drain in the floor to water the plants under the SouthEast Window.

I'm the luckiest person I know and was able to design my dream for Thanksgiving cooking. The kitchen proved itself last month when we fed 30 plus family members. There are 2 ovens (one of which is actually a two-in-one), 2 dishwashers, stainless sinks with built in drainboards, a built in soap dispenser, a glass stove top with down draft vent, tons of windows, a 9 foot island eat-in bar and counter top, a built in plumbed coffee pot in one of the 3 appliance garages, a stainless steel armoire-style refrigerator. There's even a door to the garage in the pantry, so I don't have to carry groceries up the stairs.

It's still a work in progress, even 5 months after we moved in.

  • help my tiny room, I would like some good old fashion criticism. I was going for a whimsical old world den feel but I’ve missed the mark some were. My tiny room is in the basement there is not much to work with. The couch I latterly stuck in the room . I like my Pernese Dragon statues as well as the chest., Living Rooms Design

  • Dark polyn-asian, we have a collection of things from many years in Hawaii all are special and meaningful to us. I like to call it ordered chaos hehe! I would like to paint but am afraid of color...Green is my kryptonite and the wall I would paint is 80' long and 25' tall in the lkiving room. I can not think of a cohesive color other than a khaki which seems dull. any thoughts?, Living Rooms Design

  • Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, I had an image of a Chinese Emperor from the Ching dynasty in mind when I designed this space. I wanted to create a luxurious bedroom with a bright golden tone. Any guest who stays in this room will feel like a million dollar emperor. Three Chinese scrolls were authentic master pieces originally from Taipei Taiwan., Bedrooms Design

  • Baby Boy Blue/White Squares Stripes Nursery, This nursery is just heaven for us and hopefully for the baby. I got the idea from a nursery I loved on here but we changed it up a bit and made the squares smaller. This is a very small space and it's a "circle room". We are going for simple just blue and white. We added a sheer curtain to separate it from our master bedroom since there was no door. The painting is of a baby dragon that my mother-in-law painted as a gift for us. , Nurseries Design
