  • Attic Master Bedroom BEFORE, This is our master bedroom of a redone attic. When I first bought the house I hated it because the space seemed so awkward! I'm slowly beginning to enjoy it but need some help softening it up. I'm looking for any ideas on window treatments accent paint colors or accessories. The room gets a lot of natural light. Any suggestions would be appreciated!, Bedrooms Design

  • Loft Space, We fell in love with our home mainly because a master bedroom/den in a loft area seemed so romantic. Three years later we're raising the white flag because of the lack of storage and the toilet and cubby areas have absolutely no door solutions.

The bed is atop a four inch "stage" under the northern dormer. The TV/media area/home office is under the western dormer. The southern dormer houses a sunroom we were able to successfully remodel. The western dormer is where the "problem" tub/closet/toilet are. We can't figure out a way to give the toilet privacy due to the angle of the dormer., Other Spaces Design

  • Cole's Bedroom, Dormer attic room designed and sewn by me. I made the bedspread, Roman shades, shams, bed skirt, and draperies to widen this small space. The odd shaped ceiling added to the design delimna. The project was intense but well worth the effort. The window measures only 35" looks much wider., Bedrooms Design

  • Bonus check - finished, Bonus room over a garage. It was a 12' x 35' tunnel, then my contreactor added 2 dormers in front and 2 venting skylights in back to open up the area. I built a wall half way through and installed french doors, keeping 1/2 the area as storage, then super insulating & finishing off the other. This space was originally posted when incomplete; previously people thought the green was overdone but it is much more muted in reality. Except for the structure and carpet, I did everything including the cabinets and bookcases., Other Spaces Design

  • Master Bedroom Suite in Attic, This is our Master Bedroon Suite on the third floor of our colonial. It's a very tricky space because the eaves leave no flat walls anywhere in this room. My husband and I didn't know what to do with the small dormer so we built a small platform and i added pillows to make it look like a window seat. I wanted to make the space romantic. We have candles and wedding photos and wispy fabrics to create a calming mood. Hope you enjoy!, Bedrooms Design
