  • Tight Budget Remodel, Built in the 1880's our house needs major remodeling one room at a time.  Since we are on a tight budget I had to be creative.  With a few inherited antiques (table & chairs piano) new carpeting windows and a complete wall and ceiling redo we redid this room for under $900.  I know the picture looks dark but the flash made the chandelier look odd so I had to turn it off.  The walls are actually lighter sage.  Just the beginning..., Dining Rooms Design

  • Formal Dining Room, The only room that is absolutely never used I don't know what to say about it it's probably my least favorite room in the house the table is 8 years old and I don't know what I was thinking when I got it. I'm not into glass dinner tables anymore. The drapes are pretty heavy and the chairs have to have slip covers because they are white and very contemporary and would not go otherwise. So there...   • Dining room TAKE 4, This is my third try in color. don't mind the accessories cuz' they WILL be changed and lots will be added with time The dark brown was too agressive and NOT me at all... and so I went with a lively color :) much better don't you think? I will try to make this more of a country/cottage/with a little european in it! :) even though my furniture won't quite fit in...NOW that's more like me! :), Dining Rooms Design

  • Our Dining Room, This room used to be the last owners Master Bedroom.  We knocked the wall out between the living room and this room to create a Formal Dining room.  We also knocked out the back wall and put in Pella Sliding Glass Doors.The room is Painted Behr Velvety Merlot and Behr Taupe.  The Box Molding Chair Rail Molding and Crown Molding are painted Glidden Pure White.  The floor is a Dark Cherry Glossy Laminate., Dining Rooms Design

  • the dining room that ate the living room, This room is the center of the house both geographically and functionally.  We changed the living room to a dining room to suit the way we live and entertain.  The colors especially in the picture over the fireplace the upholstery and the wallpaper are not as vivid as the flash photo makes them look.Someday I would like to change the fabrics which have traveled from our last home.Do you think it needs a rug?   • My colonial/farm style dining room, We converted this rec room to a dining room as a result of a great room addition. I have added antique pieces that provide plently of storage.  I have built ins that I painted a crackeled pumpkin spice that display my crock collection.  I also have a deep hunter green wall for that punch of color.   • Get rid of the wallpaper!, Last room to tear down wallpaper in our fixer we bought last year. (I mean FIXER!) Thinking of doing 2 shades of taupe separated by chair rail.
