I operate a business from my home and after a couple of years I needed a more functional space that would allow me to have meetings. I moved the office from the actual office in the house to the guest bedroom for more space and storage. The painting was finally completed this week. The floors and painting was contracted out but I did all of the interior decorating myself. I know that most will not like the ceiling fan which has not yet been replaced but I like them. Tell me your thoughs on my office redo.

This room was blue when I moved in. I painted it hot pink!! The pink was different but it hurt my head after a while. SO back to blue, but a better blue. I painted the ceiling dark brown partly as an experiment to see if I would like it, and partly to hide the imperfections, cracks, bumps, and glued on stars!!! Turns out, I do love a brown ceiling and have since painted the bedroom ceiling and will soon paint the bathroom. Anyone thinking about painting a ceiling dark brown....don't be afraid!! Although I must say, I think white crown molding is a must in such an endeavor.
So anyway, this is my favorite room so far but I am open to any suggestions you may have. Several minds are better than one.

Home office built into former kitchen pantry (and it is a great use of the space. Looks small but desk and drawers on both sides (his/hers/his with mirror, chandelier, marble tops, accent lighting, computer keyboard trays, printer, computer, etc.

A bright red wall in the home office space needed some fresh updating. The furniture was black with a few white splashes here and there. But it needed more! So I brought in another accent color - TEAL! I added subtle accessories here and there (photo frames, candlesticks and some stunning new window treatments from zGallerie. One of my favorite updates was purchasing a $30 standard white bookcase from Target, bought a sample size paint jar from home depot and painted the backing to give the book case some POP.

It took me three months to design my crafts room and office. I looked for versatile storage, that was neat and organized and easily accessible. I wanted the paint to be bold and vibrant, but not annoying. I also created various areas in the room for certain crafts like; scrapbooking, gift wrapping, painting, sewing, and bow making. I love this room and spend hours everyday creating!
