Oh what fun! I am so glad to be here today sharing photos from my latest project, baby VictorâÂÂs nursery. The space feels so airy, but cozy. There is a beautiful texture wall made from wood and white 3D wall tiles. A little bit of green, some gray and a touch of red brings life to the space. The room is a continuation of the design style of my home. But here it has a whimsical feel. With lion and horse figures, animal art prints, and a fox decal, this nursery is a woodland heaven.
Here is a list of where you can find all the lovely items in this nursery:
- Crib: IKEA
- Curtains: Pottery Barn
- Red V Metal Letter: Pottery Barn Teen
- Animal Art Prints: Sharon Montrose
- Print Frames: Target
- Crib Bumper: Dwell Studio
- Elephant Photo Frame: Dwell Studio

We created a cute comfortable nursery on a budget. We wanted to keep the walls neutral so we added lots of color in the accessories. The entire room including furniture, paint, light fixture, and accessories cost less than $600. We couldn't be happier with the results!

This tree is now available as a decal at http://www.etsy.com/shop/AnitaRoll. The color combination is unusual but reallly works in this nursery that is sweet and dramatic at the same time.

Wow! An eye-catching modern aqua and orange nursery with a delightfully reasonable price tag. A Nurseryworks crib serves as the focal point of the room. Colorful accents such as a rug, orange lamp, and baby bedding brighten the space. Paper lanterns hang delicately from the ceiling for a pop of color
A tree wall decal with friendly blue and orange birds and owls from weedecor.com bring softness.

This mom wanted a sweet and serene gender neutral nursery for her first born. So, she painted the baby's room yellow - Behr Ultra in Moon Dance. The pine furniture was from Westwood Design, Cypress Point line in Honey Pine. The wall decals, from weeDECOR, are the whimsical tree with birds which were placed next to the crib and owls on a branch which sit over the changing table. She tells us her son loves looking at the decals when they are changing him and they love that the wall decals are made of eco-friendly fabric! The rug is the double border rectangular rug in Antique Linen from JC Penney's. The frog wall art and owl statue are from 2 separate art galleries in Santa Fe, NM where mom and dad vacationed before the little one was born.

I am a lover of contemporary living. Ever since I thought of making our daughter's nursery I was looking for something that looks modern and contemporary. After my rigorous research I finally settled down to "Gray and Yellow" theme, Gray was to give the room that elegance and Yellow was to diffuse that freshness and incandescence for a girl's room. I loved how the combination was vivid as well as graceful.
However, I wanted to keep a balance between splurging for the nursery and 'thinking too much'. I think I was able to get to it finally!
I got my inspiration from all the beautiful projects that have been submitted already. I had previously done my son's room, and I also wanted Ayana's room to be as pretty as she herself is.

Since the moment we found out we were expecting my brain went to work on the nursery! When we found out we were having a girl, I knew I wanted a modern chic room that was sweet and girly, but not "baby-ish". I scoured the internet (thank you, ETSY! and pulled together what I feel is a beautiful nursery for my little girl! The room is calming and sweet, not too busy, and functional without being messy.
We just love it and hope that she'll look back one day and feel the love we put into each and every detail (:

For our daughter's room, we were on a pretty tight budget. I custom designed all of the decals (www.ten23designs.com to give her space a personal touch. I handmade all of her bedding with fabrics from Hobby Lobby.

This is my master bath. It came as AN ALL WHITE BATH with oak cabinets 16 years ago (see before pic. I had a VERYlimited budget to make it look less....well less builder grade and "old."
Here is what I did:
Took down old wallpaper and put up new
Put on new cabinet doors and painted the vanity
Putin new faucets
Hung new mirrors
Put up crown and pained the ceiling yellow (love the brighness this added.
Put frosted window covering on the shower stall as it was VERY old and tired and I could not get the glass clean anymore?? Then put on the tree decal. I think it is very cool!
Total budget was around $1,100 which is not bad for a new bath!!

When we found out we were having a girl this time, I went a little crazy! Birds are a popular theme right now, but I just love them! We started with sage green paint and antique white nursery furniture, and added accessories from PBKids, Land of Nod, and Target. Can't wait for Lilah to enjoy her nest!

We wanted a space-inspired room with a modern vibe that would grow with him. The jumping off point for the room was the Dwell Studio "Space" Bedding from Target and the Gumball Grenade "Set of 4 Space Prints" from Etsy. We LOVE how the room turned out. I think it's our favorite room in the house! :-

Need your help guys. What's the best thing to put on the wall above the headboard? A painting, portrait, piece of art or just leave it alone ? Would really appreciate any well-meaning advice. Thanks guys.

I didn't have too many option with the front door of my condo but I wanted my space to stand out among the rest. I also needed to block out some light that came in from the hall light. This large, matte black, window decal was cheap & did the job wonderfully

This is my daughter's new room! I was so excited to decorate a little girl's room. Everything was done around the bedding, which my mom made for me. I love how it turned out!
