  • Beach Theme, This is a Manufactured Home (mobile homes were built before 1976 but are all still referred to as trailers). We replaced the strips between the wallboards with tape added texture and painted. We also cut an arch out of the existing closet and my husband made a built-in corner armoire. This gave my daughter more space in her room. It was a lot of work but we love it!, Bedrooms Design

  • Home Office shared by 3 people, 15x23 space with 3 distinct sections. One area for me, one for my wife and one for my daughter. We have way too much stuff in here, I know, but this space is a real working office, not just a corner in a room. I trade stocks, so my "cockpit" is pretty busy - 3 computers with 8 monitors, plus lots of accessories to be stored and used. We are packed in here, but the space is actually very efficient and works well for us. We have 10 filing cabinets, 3 desks, shelving and cabinets. I even have a nice view out my window to the wooded area behind our house., Home Offices Design

  • Visions of Sugarplums from 11magnolialane--my daughter's bedroom, This is my daughter's pink, green, and white room, decorated for Christmas. It's a combination of shabby, chic, and just plain old--most of the pieces are either from my childhood bedroom, or my mother's and grandmother's.

This room was an addition when child number 2 came along! My husband and I did all the work including the addition itself. • A daughter's redone bedroom only it's mine now., This room, once upon a time used to be Duke Blue and then 'college' blue and now it's my new bedroom. My new room consists of a focal wall of recycled green/blue and 'khaki' stripes and the rest of the room in a color that would cover Duke/'college' blue easily. The headboard is also recycled and was once leather and dark brown wood and is now 'aged' teal and with new fabric covering the leather. The dresser was my parents' from decades ago and I gave it my own version of a quick tan wash of paint with a 'faux' paint brand. I made and 'aged' the upright panel shutters from ones I got at the ReStore/Habitat for Humanity, just by giving them a light coat of white paint and then roughing them with a mouse sander and then adding fake light sconces, pictures and decorative hooks., Bedrooms Design
