  • small space--BIG Style!, My master bath is a little on the small side, but because (like most of my redo's) I really couldn't add onto the house I had to make do with what I had. I will admit there were a few "lessons learned" on this job-as far as time and cost are concerned, but I am extremely happy with the use of space. It is just as comfortable, and just as luxurious as most hotels which was my primary goal with this project., Bathrooms Design

  • DAY AT THE SPA, Sorry these pictures are not real clear. I need a new camera.
We just finished our master bathroom area. We did all the work our self. To start with we had a little prefab shower in the corner where we now have a storage cabinet. We had to tear down a wall ,move plumbing and electrical. I wish we had before pictures. Everything was white, boxed in and boring. The home was built about 14 years ago. So it was ready for a face lift. There was a old outdated garden tub we took out and creating a custom walk in shower with no door. The space is very open now and roomy. Should we add a small light hanging down? Everything was replaced except the toilet. We did all the tile work our self. Now I know why they charge a fortune for labor. The tile is travertine and ceramic. The vessel sink is travertine to match the floor. Vessel sink is set up for the man of the house with more ornate vanity for the lady of the house. We had a small budget to work with. we set the budge for 3,000. but spent 3500.00. The clear glass wall put us over the budget. I'm ashamed to tell you how long this project took. So I won't. Hope you like it., Bathrooms Design

  • My Master Bath Almost There!!!!, This is my Master Bath...it's not finished but this is what it looks like so far. The floors are Marble and my partner created the Italian travertine tile design herself with a Stained Glassed Centered above the tub. It seems as though it took forever to finish but its 80% grouted and we are almost done. There is also a travertine tiled skylight directly over the tub that allows natural light to come in and hits the stained glass. Its also nice to take a soak bath at night and look up and see the stars at night.I love this bath!, Bathrooms Design
