  • My Cottage Gardens, I love to garden It is my passion! I have a small yard so I make the best of what I have and enjoy every flower and every critter that comes to visit. I added a sun porch to the back of my house to enjoy the gardens and to relax after work with a glass of Ice Tea and a good book., Gardens Design

  • Front Yard Cottage Garden, I started this garden in spring of 2006 -- the pictures here are from summer 2008.

Last year I had the concrete on the side and easement demolished and extended the garden. This year I've already planted two pink flowering dogwoods in front of each window and I relocated two wisteria to each corner of the house so that I can train them to wrap around the front porch. Other plans this summer are to add a brick pathway., Gardens Design

  • Lakeside cottage, Cottage garden. Patio and walks were plain concrete -- created a "faux" flag stone with concrete stain. All gardens were created by using the "lasagna" gardening technique -- all ideas are the compliments of info I've found on the HGTV website! All the info I've received from the show and message boards helped me have a fabulous home on a "beer" budget!, Gardens Design

  • Garden Cottage 2011 , These are some updated photos of my Garden Cottage built the end of 2009. I posted some pix in June 2010. Now here it is June 2011. It is still a work in progress but I feel it has some personality now. The backyard is only in it's second season so it still a little sparse. I will post more pix of the inside soon. Thanks for looking!, Gardens Design

  • Creating a cottage garden and a small gentleman's farm in the city., There was very little in the way of established gardens when we purchased our little cottage bungalow. We wanted to create a working organic raised bed garden and soften the edges with year round flower beds. We also wanted to be able to graze throughout the yard on fruits, herbs, and berries. We still have a long way to go, but we've at least started to establish a country cottage feeling to our little bungalow in the city., Gardens Design

  • Winter Shabby White slipcovered cottage chic, Updated one of my living rooms. The chill is in the air and I no longer wanted to see big roses. It's shabby yet chic with lots of black and white. I took away all the garden items that were pink. Repainted a cupboard from pink to white and am enjoying it's new look for a cooler season. **I just went back in to preview these photos are dark will update with better photos. thanks for looking.I love pretty things and unique things no matter where I find it curb, gar. sale, shop ect...it may sometimes get to be too much eye candy but it makes me smile and i like that. The toile looks busier in the pic than it looks in person...funny?..I think the real point is to get ideas and be inspired as i enjoy getting ideas from all of you. , Living Rooms Design
