  • Modern and Organized Office/Crafts Room!, It took me three months to design my crafts room and office. I looked for versatile storage, that was neat and organized and easily accessible. I wanted the paint to be bold and vibrant, but not annoying. I also created various areas in the room for certain crafts like; scrapbooking, gift wrapping, painting, sewing, and bow making.   • Orange and Gray Living Room, This is a rent apartment, so I can't make major changes. I would have change the ceiling lamp, but, oh well. The paint is a dark charcoal ( Behr DARK CAVERN), the other is orange (Behr KOI, but it was too bright so the helpful guys at Home Depot help me and they added more black so the color became a spice/terracota). The coffee table is from OVERSTOCK, the carpet from HAYNEEDLE, table, chairs and floor lamp from IKEA, photo frames from WEST ELM, shelfs from CRATE & BARREL, orange print chair from TARGET, orange rectangular pillow from CHIASSO. , Living Rooms Design

  • Modern Retro Living Room, I wanted to update my living room with white, black, burnt orange and touch of blue. The show "Mad Men" was my inspiration; I had the sofa, chairs and table covers custom made. I live in the Middle East, so it's very reasonable to get things made.   • Modern meets cozy, This living room is kid friendly! Clean-up is a breeze, it is modern, yet cozy. The room cost about $ 500.00 to complete if you don't include the biggest pieces, loveseat, coffee and end tables, and two chairs. It has some deco era inspired pieces. It has a glamorous feel considering it was designed with 5 kids in mind. The main wall design was painted. It is contemporary with traditional mixed in. I think. If anyone has suggestions to make it better that would be great!, Living Rooms Design

  • Architectural Details: Nice but Problematic, The bedroom in my loft has a fair amount of space however the strange ceiling angles, exposed beams, and other achitectural details that I love so much make things difficult at times.   • Boring Beige...HELP PLEASE!, My living room dining area & kitchen are one big open space. The fireplace is on an angle and the back door exits through my living room both of which make furniture placement difficult. I created a photo wall on an otherwise useless wall.
