  • Breakfast Nook - Dining Room Ready for the Christmas Holidays 2011, This is my favorite room to decorate. It's so small and cozy that a few little touches go a long way to define the style and create the mood. It's a simpler look than last year but much more practical. I have no fussy decorations to move when I want to serve a tasty breakfast or have a friend over for tea. Although a rug looks good, it's really not practical in this heavily used room and so it had to go. My theme this year is definitely PRETTY but PRACTICAL., Holidays Design

  • living color living room, 22 x 22 Living room with 26 ft tall ceilings. I wanted color but also wanted to keep the walls neutral just in case we needed to sell. I put the color in the furniture and of course the assessories (my colorful glass collection) so I could take them with me. I had the canned lighting changed into chandeliers since it was so dark in the room. I wanted to accent the windows in a modern way as well as keep the views. Any ideas as to other window accents ( I tried the swag look and YUK!) I also would like some help with how to show off my glass collection on either side of the fireplace., Living Rooms Design

  • Living color living room, 22x22space with 26 ft ceilings in beautiful Frisco Colorado. Great views, wanted color with a neutral wall palette. having problems with window coverings. Want a contempory look. NO SWAGS. Should I do the same look on both sides of window views? Want help with collection of glass display next to fireplace. Designer wanted wall paper above where i have artwork display. Thought I'd put the $$$ in the artwork - not wallpaper banner or textured paint as she recommended. What about art AND a small banner of texture above the art to bring eye down or is art enough? Please reply!!!, Living Rooms Design

  • Our Colorful Kitchen Remodel, When we moved into our new house, we didn't have enough money to re-do our kitchen so we decided to handle the project ourselves. We painted the cabinets, painted the backsplash, added a hand painted island, changed out the hardware on the cabinets, spray painted the old kitchen light fixtures, painted a chalkboard wall, and replaced the old curtains with new ones. We love the way it turned out even though it was a lot of work!, Kitchens Design

  • Vibrant Living Room Remodel!, Color translates so easily — it's both modern and in this case, also ethnic. When looking for a San Francisco Interior Designer, our client asked for three specific things: surprise, to stay on budget, and to be daring. The Gabriel Scott chandelier is a showstopper! We collaborated with amazing local San Francisco artists to really complete the space. The geometric patterning is a predominant theme echoed throughout. The Tina Sedonne's sculpture highlights strength and fluidity. Tahiti Pehrson's 4' x10' cut paper signifies interconnectedness, and also echoes the negative space created by both the coffee table and the steel chandelier., Living Rooms Design
