  • Breakfast Nook - Dining Room Ready for the Christmas Holidays 2011, This is my favorite room to decorate. It's so small and cozy that a few little touches go a long way to define the style and create the mood. It's a simpler look than last year but much more practical. I have no fussy decorations to move when I want to serve a tasty breakfast or have a friend over for tea. Although a rug looks good, it's really not practical in this heavily used room and so it had to go. My theme this year is definitely PRETTY but PRACTICAL., Holidays Design

  • No neutral wall color! , Hi RMSers! DESPARATELY need help! We have an open living area; sofas are an eggplant color. Walls (RLauren Biltmore Red(?)) are just a SMIDGET too dark plus don't really want the dining area this color either (open area w/NO structural break in walls to paint living/dining area diff. colors). Also need to incorporate picture in design. I am SO opposed to the neutral color thing - no beige tan or gold!!! :-) PLEASE help! Thanks for any suggestions!, Living Rooms Design
