This nursery is a 10x12 space, devoted to gender-neutral, modern colors that we wanted to give an overall WOW effect! We paired bedding we loved with handmade quilted pieces done to match and chose the warm cherry finish furniture to give a rich feeling in the space. To add more space and allow the addition of the large comfy green recliner, we took off the closet doors and went for an open feel where it becomes part of the room's effect. Eventually we could add curtains to cover the closet space if necessary.

The master bedroom closets needed a reworking...the old sliding doors didn't allow for maximum accessibility and they opened into the room. My solution was to remove and use them as a false wall in front of the closets, thus making a walk in and a media storage space.

These are pictures of my computer room! I guess one could say I'm kind of computer "geek" because I have three - yes that's three - computers. I use each one for a different reason. The closet in this room is also my "storage" closet for all those things like Christmas ornaments and excess computer gear (except when it's full like now and they end up in the middle of the floor!.

We live in a very small San Francisco apartment. A one bedroom, 420 square foot space is quite a challenge for 2 people, but now we are ready for 3. We did a lot of online research, and found inspiration through Ohdeedoh and Rate My Space in particular. Because we must share the nursery with our baby, we wanted something that we could sleep with every night. We tried to stick to a color palette to keep things pulled together. A modern palette of Orange, turquoise, gray, white and chocolate brown come together with a nature/ bird theme to make our space livable for baby and parents.

The bedroom was used by the previous owners as a sewing room and storage room. We removed the door to the closet and added custom built ins and changed the white walls to a calming shade of green that has worked great with lots of Pottery Barn bedding. The curtains were custom made.

Master Bedroom and bath turned into a Game Room - was started by father-in-law but he passed and it's at a stand still now - ugly blue walls - plaster and drywall exposed - 1990's and way outdated

The master bedroom has been the same since we moved in 23 years ago. I just never could figure out what to do with it. We don't have a set of real bedroom furniture. It is all mixed up. My husband calls our decorating style early eclectic.

This is a huge space with tons of potential! Right now it's very bright, which was great for a young teenage girl, but now we need a more grown up space. We're hoping to make it a design studio and a creative inspiration for freelancer working from home. It doesn't even have to be a bedroom anymore. Please help!

The bedroom in my loft has a fair amount of space however the strange ceiling angles, exposed beams, and other achitectural details that I love so much make things difficult at times. The skylight is really nice but my bed is right below it...no sleeping in for me :(
