  • Tanner's Big Sister Bedroom, With a Brother soon to be here my granddaughter wanted a big sister room. Damask, stripes, polka dots & rhinestones were the inspiration for this bedroom. I painted two shades of pink stripes on the wall one color satin finish and the other in a gloss finish. I created a scalloped border around the room with a circular sponge and filled the space in with polka dots. I used fabric patterns of black& white stripes, Black & white damask and black &white polka dots to create all the curtains and to add accents to the damask comforter. I created window cornices for the double window and one for a beautiful background for her bed. I created a vanity out of an end table with an adorable mini chandelier to accent the area. I also created a matching doll bed for her dolls which was the perfect finish for an Amazing Big Sister Bedroom., Girls' Rooms Design

  • Traditional and Elegant Living Space, This is my living room in my new house. We just moved in several months ago and this is our first home. I decorated this living room to be comfortable and relaxing yet elegant and classy. The predominant colors are golds tans reds and some black. For those who have asked the candelabra is not as tall as it looks from the angle of the picture. It does not obstruct any view of the room/tv/guests. It helps to set the relaxing elegant tone as you walk in to the room. Thanks for visiting!, Living Rooms Design

  • Bright and cheery kitchen on a budget, Created this small U-shaped kitchen for one of our vacation rentals in Anaheim. I wanted to make sure the space was functional, but also bright, cheery and fun, after all people are on vacation and this should be reflected in the design . Apparently I was the very first customer at our local, Orange County Ikea to EVER purchase the Apple Martini Silestone counter tops. What's wrong with you OC?!? So tired of seeing the same boring granite everywhere..., Kitchens Design

  • On the way to getting classy, Master bedroom. I like the Mocha, tan and black look. So i'm happy with the furniture and bedding. I'm lost at what to do with everything else. Do we do drapes or shutters....what type of lamps and do we get some sort of bench infront of the bed? I love the potterybarn type look. I need pictures too but wonder if i should go black and white photos or if someone has a suggestion if we should have something with color, maybe add a red? any suggestions will help and thanks., Bedrooms Design

  • My Tiny City Dining Room, It is a very small space, so my options were limited. I wanted it to be classy but fun. A mirror was essential to give the space some "space." I wanted people to want to be in the room even though it is very small. I wanted a dominant color and window treatments that looked great open or closed for different looks. Since the window faces a brick wall, the window treatments were all about decoration and not about privacy. The seating needed to be very comfortable so people would feel good in the seats for hours (dining, playing board games or just enjoying each others company over a glass of wine.), Dining Rooms Design

  • French Country Bathroom, Re-Post: I started with the toile wallpaper and wainsotting and a clawfoot tub with a shower sourround. This bathroom had green shagg carpeting and ugly shower with glass doors, outdated vanity and they took the mirror when they sold it. Whe knocked down the walls and added the wainscotting and new flooring and wallpaper and tub. It's made a true transformation. I wish I had the before pictures it was horrible!, Bathrooms Design

  • Great Remodel, We are just finishing a kitchen/livingroom remodel that was started in June. The pictures tell the story. We did all the work ourselves with exception to installing the granite.

We plan to replace the kitchen light and ceiling fan. The livingroom awaits paintings on the large wall that are coming and an accent piece on the wall near the bar., Kitchens Design

  • A little bit of Yankee Heaven, My wife and I wanted to create a Yankee themed nursery that displayed both the Yankee’s Pride and Class. I have envisioned the Stadium Mural for the past 12 years and now that we are expecting our third child and 1st son, I was finally able to bring my vision to life. The pin strips were my wife’s idea. The angles are little Bears wearing Yankee Great jerseys- 3 Babe Ruth, 4 Lou Gehrig, 5 Joe DiMaggio, 7 Micky Mantle, 8 Yogi Berra, 15 Thurman Munson, 44 Reggie Jackson and the one frontal view is 23 Don Mattingly. We chose Bears because our last name is Baer.

We chose to put Yankee Stadium in the clouds because last year was the Final Season for the “House That Ruth Built” and now it symbolizes Yankee Heaven to all the Yankee Greats.

The Jersey Mural is located on the inside panel of the closet door. We chose #2 because Derek Jeter is our favorite player and I added a little extra touch my putting my son’s last name “Baer” across the top.

All the murals were painted by free hand. This is the first detailed mural I have ever tried to paint. Most of my artwork before this was pencil, pen and paper. I still have to finish the lower part of the jersey and we are planning on adding a few more pieces of art on the walls, but beside that it is pretty much finished. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated!
