It took about 4 months to complete our renovation. A complete DIY kind of project. So thankful for my handy husband ;. All the aggravations, bump heads, stress and hard work paid off at the end, and the best thing is that I'm still married!!! LOL. It takes my breath away every time I look at it, amazingly beyond expectations!!!! I'm in love with my new kitchen!! Small in size but huge in heart. Lot's of love and new memories to create. I'm so glad it's finally completed and we can now enjoy the new heart of our home. <3 Thank you all for your comments and your ratings. xo's

"It looks like one of those bathrooms you see in a fancy Spanish hotel" remarked the tile installer. "It's nice to see something different being done. Classy," he expressed with pride admiring his work and thank us for the chance to work with again.
This dining room had an 80's vibe before-now it has more of a casual elegance Tommy Bahama feel. All new furniture with hand carved banana leaf details new lighting including a new granite pendant to replace the old chandelier. The crown moulding finishes it off.

Here is a living room in a small, cozy, beach house. It was completely rehabed and this is what I did with the living room space. I wanted classy beach! The before pics are the best.

Our attempt at understated, feminine elegance without the typical pink palette. This room was designed for a ballet loving, rambunctious 3-year old who will hopefully love it just as much when she is 15. Complete with built-in bookcases, an upholstered window seat, and a petite chandelier...we were even able to squeeze in space for a table with tea set for four, despite cozy dimensions and a challenging ceiling. A large patterned yellow damask wallpaper covers the walls, and hints of pinks and greens are brought in through striped fabrics in the curtains. A vintage, shabby chic dresser was first used as a changing table. We hope you like this space!!

I've seen some wacky wallpaper before, but come on!! Inexpensive changes transformed this bathroom.
(From the responses this is either a love it or hate bathroom. The bottom line is this house was going on the market and this is far too personal of a choice for the majority of potential buyers. However, I guess HGTV liked it, because they're featuring it in their top 10 "Most Extreme Bathroom Makeovers"

This is my dining/breakfast room right off the kitchen. The paint color is Garden Stone...Valspar Signature Series...it is more of a taupe gray. It really warms up my woods and brings them all together. I made the curtains myself with just plain white linen fabric and I found about a 1 1/2 yards of a print fabric that I loved and added to the top. I can slide the treatment back and forth to go out the back door and still have a view from the inside. I was trying to hide the backdoor and the hardware between the door and the other window. I love blending my style of country with a more modern clean look.

This space is opened up immensely with the addition of the Nana Wall creating a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors which makes this space great for entertaining family and friends. The colors are neutral with pops of color so that the spaces can be played with changing accessories out seasonally or just simply on a whim.

We sure have friends with good taste! (he he! This beautifully restored 1921 Mercedes Benz did more for the look of our log home than all the possible landscaping we could imagine!

We moved into a fixer-upper with a 1970's interior. Everything in the kitchen was dated and dirty! We were on a tight budget and didn't have much experience in remodeling but through a lot of internet study and a zillion trips to Lowes and Home Depot we were able to work our butts off and turn a 70's disaster into an old world traditional kitchen with a tuscan flair for under $5000.00. With the exception of the french door installation we did every bit of the work ourselves.

We finally finished our little man's nursery...now all we need is the baby! We love everything about this room. It's cute and 'babyish' while still remaining classy and elegant.

My daughter just turned 11 and though she loved her first bedroom make-over, we both wanted to do something a little more grownup so it would last until it was time for college.
