This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child.

We have a 2 bedroom apartment in Manhattan, NY.This small bedroom is shared by my 3 children . My 12 and 9 year old girls, plus there 6 year old brother. It is a 11' x 8' room. When my 2nd child was born we took out the closet and custom built a bed with four drawers underneath. Then when the 3rd child was born we converted the bottom 2 drawers to a trundle bed (mattress is a crib size mattress, cut from foam and built a bunk bed above. The 12 and 9 year old girls are sleeping on foam mattress the width of a crib and about a foot longer. My 12 year old is way too big for her bed and is ready for a twin size mattress. I think the best solution is a horizontal murphy bunk bed with custom drawers/closet on the main wall. Then create a closet and drawers under the bunk bed. This is a fortune to custom build. I clearly need help and specific suggestions!

Inspired by pottery barn kids lindsey bedroom, but not inspired by the price. I handmade the paper butterflies on the walls and drew the Cinderella, Sleeping
Beauty Castle and Alice in Wonderland pictures with map pencils and used
scrapbooking stickers for the characters.
The bedding is from Target's Shabby
Chic collection. In the future, I would like
to replace the bedding with the pb kids lindsey bedding. I bought the antique
dresser on Craigslist and painted it off white. The nightstand I found at Homegoods. The lamp I found at Big Lots for $15 and glued roses on the
lampshade.

This living room space is long (23.8' x 14.2' with cathedral ceilings. We use half the room for family time (watching tv, reading books, playing games. The other half of the room is used for the kids play area.
The previous owners created this gigantic fireplace focal area, with a mirror above it. I'm not a fan of mirrors around the house, so I suction cupped our family pictures to the mirror. We haven't used the fireplace in 5 years, so I decided to ignore it while arranging the furniture.
Our dog's beds are hidden behind the couch near the fireplace because there's no other place for them.
After 5+ years living in this house, this is the best furniture arrangement we've been able to come up with. I haven't decided on a wall color and have no idea how expensive it would be to get rid of that giant fireplace mantle. Since we own the house, we can do as we wish. I am at HGTV's mercy, please give me your ideas. Thanks.

Once finding out that we were expecting a Baby Girl, I knew immidately which style I wanted for her Nursery. By using new, vintage & used furniture we were able to create a shabby chic nursery that would grow with out little girl! Our biggest obstical was bringing in color to the room without painting the walls due to that we live in Military housing on Camp Pendleton & doing it all on a budget!

Our house is on a quarter acre. We have a deck that extented from the master bedroom all the way to garage area. The decks too small the the backyard is full of sink holes. Worried the deck is going to be affected. I would love to see a beautiful garden and pathway throughout the backyard. Fire pit meditation area. Waterfall or some type of water feacher.

My husband built this cottage on two acres of land situated on a lake called Hodgewater Pond .It is located 25 minutes from the capital city of Newfoundland St John'sCanada.My great grandfather operated a logging company in this area 100 years agoHence we have a lot of family history in this area.My mother brother three aunts and three cousins have cottages in this area

This space is used for TV video games crafts etc. It's primarily for the kids but occasionally I'll get out my scrap stuff in here as well. I like the colors and basic set up of the room but it's just missing something. As far as window treatments I just can't make up my mind what I want. I love seeing the outdoors but it really needs to be covered for privacy and heat issues.
