  • French Country Blue and Yellow Kitchen, This kitchen re-do was the 2nd in two years. When we first did the remodel, we just painted all the cabinets white, but it never really made me happy. I went bold with yellow cabinets and a blue island, and the new colors work MUCH better with our very rustic saltillo tiles. , Kitchens Design

  • Romantic Vintage Chic Master, This room is a total makeover. I made the drapes, curtains, bedding. Painted and Distressed furniture.Embellished a chandelier actually 2 for this room. I am currently working on a slipcover for the headboard and also a fireplace mantle of which is not yet pictured on the left side of the bed. I have not decided whether to paint the small side table so I'll live with it for a while. I was asked the wall color which is an ICI Paint Color (Wool Skein) Since this photo the bed has been raised and the bedskirt now comes to the floor.I chose the floral arrangement beside the bed instead of flowers not wanting to add to to many flowers in the room. My husband's favorite color is purple and there's alot of it in the drapes. Made slipcover for headboard which was a bit too white in previous pics also antiqued concrete planter. , Bedrooms Design

  • some enchanted evening, I created this room while I was in college to have a place where I could simply walk into and say "Ahhhh....".The faux finish on the wall is a metallic stria. I rewired the chandeliers so they plug into the wall and installed dimmers to cast a glow on the accent wall. The bed actually consists of two wrought iron headboards but I lifted the one on the back to give the room a more grand look. The bedding is custom made and I made all of the drapes in the room for a soft romantic feel. , Bedrooms Design

  • A work in progress! , I'm reposting new pics. Here are answers to some of your questions. The curtains are actually painters tarps from Home depot! Pre sewn. Great value & look. The chandeliers are from Craigslist.com. 44" tall Lantern was only 124.00. Orig price is 1119.00.@ lamps plus! The fixture over the table was 10.00. The sofa set was purchased same place for only 400.00! Btw, you can by electrical conduit for 12' long rods for less than 10.00 each and paint them with oil rubbed bronze spray paint for under 4.00 a can. works great! I used tassels from Ross for tie backs and also us little boys brown leather belts. I put a hook on the wall to keep them in place. simple. I recently painted the sofa furniture black and love it. Much crisper look. Paint is my friend!! :-), Patios & Decks Design
