Our master bedroom is huge with high cathedral ceiling and a step up open bathroom, which gives it a very modern look. We have lots of light coming into the room. We want to decorate it so as to accentuate its architectural uniqueness.

Our family room was renovated to include built-in cabinetry, a gas fireplace and a much improved home theater system. Whether we watch TV, listen to music, read, work on the computer, or just sit and chat with the family, it's a great room to unwind and relax.

This is our new place and it is begging for some personalization - we need advise. The trim is real oak and the floors are bamboo. I don't plan to change the floors at all. The fireplace is granite as is the foyer. The oak is natural and I was wondering if we should paint it, perhaps put in a different banister and then have the living area painted in taupe with white trim - along with a really nice staircase banister. The top banister is bordering a loft area - what should we put up there? What kind of furniture would you use to furnish this space? Specifics - please. The leather couch, chair, ottoman and table were just purchased but we have another family room downstairs that we could use it in - what type of furniture and how do you break up this space? We need advise! Pictures would be great!

Our kitchen features Hickory Kraftmaid cabinets with two types of granite and gun metal, GE Profile appliances. It has a cathedral ceiling and is 16x16'.
It is the kitchen of my dreams and a wonderful place to cook. The floors are 15" terrazzo marble.

This room is positioned between the mudroom (going out to the garage and the kitchen. There is often a trail of clutter that travels from place to place and often lands in the open spaces in here. The furniture is worn out and an odd mix of modern danish style and exotic finds from international travels. I'd like to give the room a more cohesive look and pick a theme. I'm thinking along the lines of Modern Moroccan.

This smaller room didn't need much furniture but is a wonderful place to read and relax. I was able to showcase several collections here using even the cathedral ceiling wall for display space.

Our living room is on the larger size with an open cathedral ceiling. The room is sunken two feet lower than the rest of the house. The walls and ceiling are natural cedar, with one area of painted drywall. My husband got a large plasma TV for Christmas and it is now the 800 pound gorilla in our space. I would call the design/style of this space "country cabin clutter". I've recently rearranged the furniture to "try" making it cozier. Not sure that I hit the mark. I would love a cleaner, brighter look to the room, with built-in cabinets on each side of the fireplace and textured (hand-cut feel real hardwood floors. I love retro-contemporary with outdoor colors (garden sage green, robin egg blue, sea glass green & blue, autumn leaves.

Traditional, formal yet comfortable family room with cathedral ceiling. Need help with the large, blank & boring cathedral wall on the whole right side of the family room and how to tie everything together. Has tv over fireplace with mantle and marble surround, sliding glass doors to sunroom and floor to ceiling windows with celery green painted walls, swirled ceilings and beige berber rug.
