  • Breakfast Nook - Dining Room Ready for the Christmas Holidays 2011, This is my favorite room to decorate. It's so small and cozy that a few little touches go a long way to define the style and create the mood. It's a simpler look than last year but much more practical. I have no fussy decorations to move when I want to serve a tasty breakfast or have a friend over for tea. Although a rug looks good, it's really not practical in this heavily used room and so it had to go. My theme this year is definitely PRETTY but PRACTICAL., Holidays Design

  • Our tiny little Zen-ish Potty, We live in a 3BR, 1BA Cape Cod style home. With 1 bath we wanted to do as much as we could to make it a nice place to shower and get ready for work. Of course, it's not a huge master suite like we would like, but we think we did a good job with the small space. What do you think?, Bathrooms Design

  • Starting Our New Space, Our dining room and living room is one big space with lots of windows and doors. I'm working on both spaces. I want to paint the walls a caramel color and I want a different dining room table... thinking round or rectangular. Maybe painting the existing on a dark brown would help?
Any suggestions are welcome. I'll be adding better pics of the space soon. We don't have a huge budget but that's ok because I love consignment and thrift store finds, lol.
My colors are orange, dark brown, tan, and turquoise for a pop of color., Dining Rooms Design

  • Cherry & Chocolate Bathroom, This is our "guest" bathroom in the hall. Red is one of my favorite colors, and the shower curtain was my inspiration. The room lacked contrast, and to fix it up, it took around $60. We don't have the time right now to do a complete remodel, so this was my re-vamp in around a day. , Bathrooms Design

  • Budget Tropical Porch, My porch was going to be my next project, but in order to save money, I decided to not buy anything new and try to find things I had around the house to make this space be a continuation of the rest of the house decor. So, I had a can of spray paint and began moving things around! Our family loves to surf and stand-up paddle so I put the stand-up paddle book on the shelf. All the candles in lanterns light up, so it's warm and inviting in the evening. I spray painted some of the planters and the table black. So, this is definitely a work-in-progress and uncompleted until I find something else!, Porches Design

  • Burnt Orange & Beige, I love my home, but so many spaces need working on, including this one. The living room is the first thing people see when they walk in. Our floor plan is kinda wierd since it was a remodel and we really had no choice.

I love the colors I started with, but I need more furniture, more traditional side tables, don't you think? I really need help with accessories and such. Please tell me what you think! I would LOVE your honest opinion and comments and suggestions are greatly appriciated!!! I will also post this on my blog:, Living Rooms Design
