This project consisted of renovating a second floor bedroom and attic. These two spaces were transformed into a lower level second floor sitting area with a vaulted ceiling leading to a third floor master suite.

This home is 11 years old and we made a poor decision when building to install a very large corner tub for the Master Bathroom. It had 5 jets which turned out to be close to useless for something that size. It used a tremendous amount of water, so I removed it and that's all I planned on doing. That started a makeover of the entire bathroom. Now, in that space which originally housed a tub, sits a new platform tub, with the illusion of it being an undermount and a new elongated toilet. Every bit of plumbing was replaced, supply lines and supply lines. The toilet was moved 12 feet and the toilet area is now a huge walk in shower with sloped floor to a linear drain. All was done by the homeowner with the exception of the installation of the granite countertop. Cabinets were installed where the shower unit once sat and drywalling them into a corner. This room was all about the details.

This beautiful kitchen boasts GE Monogram appliances (48" range with grill & griddle Advantium Wall Oven trash compactor electric cooktop 36" side by side refigerator and freezer 2 dishwashers and Ariston Coffee Espress machine. Center Island granite has a 3 layer bullnose. Range has a warming shelf and pot filler.

A simple suburban example of maroon, white and black. We like minimal clutter and smooth textures. The iron bed is the focal point with its deep red spread that has just a hint of a design. Dark wood accessories are used to contrast the stark bone walls.

Not all apartments are small in New York City! The open space floor plan is great for entertaining our big family comfortably. We kept the space open but visually separated the functionally different areas such as living room, dining room and a small coffee corner.

Rich green walls and a stone overlay set off the built-in flat-screen TV above the fireplace. Two different colors on the walls, gray and green, break up the space and create contrast. Note how the desk sits back into the wall to not clutter the main room space and fit seamlessly into the layout.

This space is our living room and it is a difficult space to work with as the room is limited to multiple layouts. We need to build some sort of shelving unit around the fireplace and tv. It needs to house the electronics as well as maybe some display pieces. Any ideas or pictures to help out??

A sleek, open contemporary design with a primary focus on our Japanese Garden and koi pond and a secondary focus on storage. The duel color cabinets are united with a dark crown molding. Necessity dictated that the kitchen blend with the living room as well as the' Niwa' (garden room. A strict budget required very careful shopping online.

Vaulted ceilings with a built-in wall of cabinets and drawers. Any womans dream! Hardwood floors and a flat screen tv over the granite fireplace. My inspiration for the wall of white cabinets and drawers was from Candice on HGTV's Devine Design. Thank you Candice for your great style and ideas. BTW the white wall matches the crown molding, ceiling and double doors in the bedroom.
