Freshly painted, the white washer and dryer, along with the cabinetry, go perfectly with the crisp style of checkerboard. The cement floor was smooth but not super level, which is no problem for decoupage!   • Details in Decoupage Floors, Think a decoupage floor has to be plain? How about some nice detailing, also in paper, to add a finishing touch to a room. The overall coloring of the paper was tone on tone but I could use any coloring.   • Bath and hallway Redo, I decided to paint the guest bathroom and opened up a can of worms. This led to repainting all the blue trim white,installing a new Caroma toilet, replacing outswinging door with a sliding door, brown bag floor for hallway and painting all trim in hallway as well as doors.
