  • Bath and hallway Redo, I decided to paint the guest bathroom and opened up a can of worms. This led to repainting all the blue trim white,installing a new Caroma toilet, replacing outswinging door with a sliding door, brown bag floor for hallway and painting all trim in hallway as well as doors.   • Modern Bathroom with a Doorless Shower and Tropic Brown Granite, After years of living with etched glass walls with brass trim we tore it all out and replaced it with a modern walk-in doorless shower. The rest of the bathroom was updated with tropic brown counters, vessel sinks, and Nexus cabinets in brown. We paneled our bathtub with a simple nexus cover panel and replaced all of the brass with chrome. Our shower and bath tile was accented with a strip of gray marble mosaic with a travertine liner above and below. The shower pan was replaced with the marble mosaic as well. The floor tile was removed and replaced with Armstrong vinyl tiles to match the field wall tile on the diagonal in a brick pattern. The big glass mirror was replaced with modern mirrored medicine cabinets. This is a very low maintenance bathroom., Bathrooms Design

  • Before and After Major Kitchen Remodel, We moved into a 665 sq foot condo in Hoboken, NJ. The kitchen was original since 1986. We gutted the entire kitchen. New cherry wood cabinets with stainless steel pulleys and Kenmore stainless steel appliances were installed. A light beige with brown specs grainite counter top replaced the laminate counter top. A new stainless steel undermount sink with faucet were added. Cinnamon toasted engineered hardwood floor replaced the original parquet floor. Removed the flouresent light fixture and installed a oil rubbed bronze track lighting. , Kitchens Design

  • Master Bath Overhaul, After finding mold behind some loose tiles, my husband and I ripped everything out and started over. We tore out the vinyl shower pan and used instructions online to build a new one....   • Can't change your mind in this bathroom, its to small. But finally some progress., This is the main floor bathroom and is off the kitchen. The house was built around 1910 and this part of the house was an addition( Not sure when). Its small,only 6' long x 4.5' wide (not including space in the shower/bathtub) I have to go out to change my mind. Its hard for me and my wife to be in there at the same time. Please post any idea's to make the room larger or look larger. , Bathrooms Design

  • Master Bedroom, Any suggestions?, This is what we have done with our master bedroom so far. I have only hung one thing up and need suggestions for smaller accessories and things. I also need to do something with the old curtain rod but I think our old drapes work still. We thought the blue brown and creams were relaxing.
