  • The "Samuel Penney House" circa 1902, The locals call it the "Penney Mansion" but at around 4000 sq ft I don't think it quite qualifies. It was designed by William Miller and was place on the National register of historic homes in 2003, Home Exteriors Design

  • A to Z Baby Boy Nursery, Our baby boy's nursery, which I am quite proud of. It has an A to Z theme with lots of color and is really fun. The furniture is from the "Thomas Collection" by Pottery Barn in antique black finish. We bought the rocker bare from "Wood You" and painted it red to contrast. The bedding and window treatment is also from Pottery barn. The shelf above the changing table/dresser is a piece from the "Dick and Jane" Collection by "Bratt Decor". We painted the walls a pale yellow, which you can see in a few of the pictures, however it's hard to tell on all monitors. We put crown molding at the ceiling. Brady seems to really enjoy the color and contrast in his room....we hope you enjoy it too! :), Nurseries Design

  • cowboy room, This bed I designed with the old west in mind. Illustrating the closet to look like a turn out shed with my happy smiling horse ready for his owner to come on in and play a spell! I painted the border with cowboy icons and fauxed the wall below the border to add some depth to the wall. The valances were bought. I added the cow print fabric. All artwork is my work. I had a lot of fun!, Boys' Rooms Design

  • Mudroom - Goodbye Closet...hello Organization!, Our mudroom was not well utilized because it wasn't fully functional. It had a large closet which was stuffed with coats, shoes, backpacks, and lots of other stuff. The room has a service door that goes out to the front of the house...its really useless, but we couldn't remove it - the front of the house is partial that was too much of an investment. So...we had to make do with what we had. We wanted hooks (much easier for kids) and cubbies for their stuff along with somewhere to put shoes. Now the room is much more functional. I am so happy!!, Other Spaces Design

  • Orange and Green Modern Room, A boys dream room here in our new (yet old) home that we just renovated. Our son now has a bedroom plus sitting room. *Before..this room was the previous owners home gym. The wall with the artwork was covered with mirrors which was so hard to get off. We made a closet out of a room built for a projection TV that opened up to the family room on the other side (we sealed that off and built shelves and such). NOTE: Our son picked out all colors, furniture and rugs himself!!!, Boys' Rooms Design

  • Church Nursery, We calmed down a 1960s intense yellow to a soothing palette of Sherwin-Williams Saffron Thread Cay Frolic Hep Green and Ancestral Gold. Ancestral Gold was our base and neutral color. The greens were used to make the stripes on two of the walls. Cay was used to create the plaid walls using glaze. The long floor-to-ceiling curtains are for the privacy of the mothers and sleeping babies., Nurseries Design

  • Noah's Nursery, We wanted something other than a traditional little boy nursery and just started with looking at this site and then did everything on our own. We decided we wanted a contemporary room mixed with traditional design. We are very much amateurs and did not have any professional help so we understand not everything is perfect but we love it because we did it all ourselves for our baby. This is for our special new baby Noah! , Nurseries Design
