  • Molly's sunshine filled sunroom, This is our...well technically Molly the bunny's sunroom. This is where she spends her days. We let her loose when we are home to watch her and the dogs are on the deck. She loves to lay on top of the air conditioning vents and to sit on the sofa to look out on her kingdom. Okay enough of Molly. The quilt on the wall was a yard sale find for $3.00. The hoosier I have had for almost 20 years and was purchased at auction. It houses our stereo., Porches Design

  • Modern Baby Boy nursery on a Budget! , We wanted a Modern Boy nursery that looked design quality without the high designer cost.....our total cost including all supplies and furniture was under $800! The ceiling pieces were cut from 5/8" plywood and painted to match the block wall. We gave the look of crown molding by taping and painting to create this illusion. We were inspired by another design we found and improved upon it to fit our own style and taste. We used no VOC paint throughout and organic bedding. , Nurseries Design

  • Storybook Cottage Nursery, Our goal was to create a whimsical space for our little pumpkin to dream in that was warm and cozy, while bright and cheerful. With a tiny budget (about $350 including the crib), a multitude of leftover paint, years worth of fabric remnants, a few heirloom pieces, and all the ingenuity we could muster, we created this room for her.

  • Serene baby boy room updated!, This is our son's nursery -- I finally painted the back's of the built-ins! I always recommend it and finally took my own advice. I love how it turned out. I also added a quick window treatment using the extra fabric from his bedskirt. Thinking about adding a window seat between the built ins. My father and I did this whole room together when I was pregnant -- we added the built-ins paint and crown molding. I bought the pedestal table and dresser unfinshed and painted them. Thanks for looking!, Nurseries Design

  • Neutral Nursery, I designed my babies nursery not knowing if we were having a boy or girl. I made the draperies reversible with one side stripes and the other was a more feminine scroll pattern. I used an antique dresser as a changing table and my great grandmas chandelier . The wall treatment was a lot of work the upper part and ceiling is pearlescent and the lower has subtle vertical stripes with flat and semi gloss paint. Custom made bedding in cream and black. , Nurseries Design
