  • Brand New "Old" Bathroom, (New professional wide angle photos will be taken January 2nd 2009) This is one of the upstairs full baths. It was inspired by a vist to Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. (As was the rest of the house remodel). The floors in this room and the rest of the house, are Dupont High Definition Laminate in wide plank Hickory. Please feel free to look at all the rooms in this home. Hope you enjoy.   • Victorian guest bath, I designed this bath in honor of my mother who loved everything Victorian. The vanity is actually a chest of drawers with a marble top. My husband cut the drawers to accomodate the plumbing but they still hold a multitude of towels. The lighting is antique swag lights in the shape of pineapples. The cut glass of the lights, compliments the cut glass sink bowl. To the left of the sink, is an antique, glass tray that my mother put in pictures of Victorian children along with a glass shelf that holds a glass "bathroom" set that was my grandmothers'.   • Bathroom with Granite and Glass Bowl Sink, Our home has kind of tuscany theme with it. And we really wanted to get crazy in the bathroom. We brought a slab of granite from Habitat for Humanity Outlet and cut it for the countertop and shelves. I really had the vision of a toilet that came out from the corner, so we were able to find a toilet that was able to fit into the existing plumbing. We thought the black floors would really pop, especially with the white grout. And then there are the walls. It was about a 6 step process to complete the walls. It was a great adventure and I would do it again. The space was inspired by the sink. The sink was purchased first., Bathrooms Design

  • Cobalt Blue 1920's Bath, We have a 1921 New Englander that had an ugly bath with green carpeting and plastic tile on the walls. We removed the old tub and had a custom corner shower built and bought an antique bureau to use as a vanity with a cast iron cobalt blue sink. I am pleased with how it turned out.
