This is my idea for a twilight themed bedroom. I originally designed it for a teenager but it could be for an adult also. The main colors are Red, Black, and White. And of course had everything to do with the Twilight Saga. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn!! I hope you like it!

My daughter-n-law and I wanted a whimsical type nursery but still wanted it to be masculine. We searched and searched for some type of inspiration to help us with a theme. Finally we came across a photo of a little girl kissing a frog prince and the theme was set. We know from the beginning that we wanted a black and white color combination and finally settle on green for our third color. From that point we let our imaginations flow. We added striped to the bottom part of the wall by taping off 12 in. sections and painting in alternating colors of black & white. The top border of the wall we created a connecting diamond shaped pattern using a diamond stencil I created out of cardboard. I used a small circle sponge to add metallic gold dots where each diamond meets. Using colors in Fresh Parsley, Black & White in a satin finish. I custom designed and handmade all the curtains, accent pillows, placemat and changing table cover.
The Chandelier was custom created by Whimsical Collections as a replica to the custom painting we had painted by hilariagalleries .
Other accessories bought at various stores throughout our process for creating this nursery.
This room was a true labor of Love. I enjoyed every minute difficult or easy in the process of designing this nursery, from the time I stitched my first stitch to the very last drop of paint.
I wanted my grandson to have a room worthy of a prince that he is. I created and did most of the work with the inspiration and ideas of my daughter-n-law to help along the way.

Our walls are light green, and were that way when we moved it. We liked it so we went with it. The main colors are black and tan/cream with hints of green. Looking for suggestions to tie it all together. Thanks for looking :
Ohh and take notice of our cat Minx, she wanted in on the photos!

We like to keep our holiday decor color schemes & themes neutral. We are relatively new homeowners, so we don't have a ton of decorations yet, but each year we add to our collection...hope you like it!

With three small children, my husband and I definitely deserve a restful, beautiful room. I created this space to feel sophisticated and elegant without being TOO ornate. The elegance of the furniture is balanced with the simple beauty of the lamps and mirror. My husband has to live in this room, too, so this is a nice balance of feminine and masculine by using black, leather and nail-head trim. The walls are Valspar's "Lighthouse Shadows". The ceiling is "Cream in My Coffee". Since the ceiling is vaulted, we added the molding to "bring the ceiling down" and create a cozier space. Painting the ceiling the same color as the upper wall helped complete this feel.
The bedding was surprisingly purchased at Walmart about 2 years ago. I made the curtains, wall monogram and headboard with a little muscle from hubby. I removed the original "matchy matchy" mirror on the dresser and added this large solid wood one from Homegoods - only $50! Other accessories in the room are from Marshalls, Target, Homegoods, Ross, etc. I successfully convinced my husband to take down the ceiling fan and put up the chandelier instead...bought at Home Depot.
I finally LOVE our bedroom and the feeling it brings us.

With a Brother soon to be here my granddaughter wanted a big sister room. Damask, stripes, polka dots & rhinestones were the inspiration for this bedroom. I painted two shades of pink stripes on the wall one color satin finish and the other in a gloss finish. I created a scalloped border around the room with a circular sponge and filled the space in with polka dots. I used fabric patterns of black& white stripes, Black & white damask and black &white polka dots to create all the curtains and to add accents to the damask comforter. I created window cornices for the double window and one for a beautiful background for her bed. I created a vanity out of an end table with an adorable mini chandelier to accent the area. I also created a matching doll bed for her dolls which was the perfect finish for an Amazing Big Sister Bedroom.

As pink and black is our humans favorite color, she did all the art work, made the curtains and added a touch of fun to her guest bathroom. It's the must see room in the home.

Our kitchen/bar has a very unique setup, the bar was the original kitchen and the kitchen was originally a den. We gutted the existing kitchen/bar and installed Ikea cabinets, granite tile, backsplash tile, under/inner cabinet lighting and stainless steel sinks & appliances, all by ourselves!
