  • Home Exterior, It's a Craftsman/Cottage home with very large porches. There are 4 porches. One on the front and 3 in the back. The middle back porch is screened in. There are three swings. One ison the front and the other two are out back with one being on the masterbedroom private porch. This home is all about outdoor living. The three sets of french doors across the back will open on to the porches and create more living area outdoors and in. It's all about having a big family.

  • Lilah's bird's nest!, When we found out we were having a girl this time, I went a little crazy! Birds are a popular theme right now, but I just love them! We started with sage green paint and antique white nursery furniture, and added accessories from PBKids, Land of Nod, and Target. Can't wait for Lilah to enjoy her nest! , Nurseries Design

  • Lovebird Nursery, We created a cute comfortable nursery on a budget. We wanted to keep the walls neutral so we added lots of color in the accessories. The entire room including furniture, paint, light fixture, and accessories cost less than $600. We couldn't be happier with the results!, Nurseries Design

  • Nolan's Nursery, Nolan is our first child, due to arrive August 23, 2009. I have had the most fun designing and decorating the nursery. I wanted the nursery to be light, breezy, tranquil and fun. I used a pale turquois on the walls, my favorite color. I chose the Bratt Decor "Blu" furniture line to add a contemporary feel. I love the padded turquois suede material on the ends of the crib. I found a contemporary material to coordinate and hired seamstress Sue Gravens to make my custom bedding and curtain toppers. The final touch was adding contemporary birds, owls and trees to bring the outdoors inside. I hired artist August Schuss, who did an amazing job on the murals. He even painted our cavalier king charles, "Charlie", on the entrance wall to the nursery. Hopefully, this will be the perfect room for Nolan to grow, play and learn. , Nurseries Design

  • Gray, pink and yellow nursery , My daughter's DIY nursery.

The wall color is Stonington Gray from Benjamin Moore. I made the bird artwork above the crib and my mother-in-law made the crib skirt and the window valance. I decorated the letters spelling out Lena's name using plain white letters from Hobby Lobby and scrapbook paper, mod podge, ribbon and other embellishments.

The dresser was an ugly green dresser that we found at a garage sale for $30. I painted it and changed the knobs. We made the bookshelves out of gutters. The bird mobile was a gift from my mom and is from Etsy.
