  • Repost: Found the inspiration, I eliminated the small accessories following your suggestions. I think it's better. It also gave me the idea to frame a handmade doily made by husband's Mom before she passed away. Better to display something that means so much to you than stash it away in a box or drawer. I also eliminated the hats on adjacent wall. Replaced with picture. Took out chair. So let me know if you think it'sbetter. Thanks for all your suggestions., Bathrooms Design

  • Fairy Perennial Garden, I designed this "Fairy" garden as a makeover for a family on the HGTV show "Outer Spaces" a few years ago. The family loved fairies and wanted me to incorporated them somehow in the garden without it being to "juvenile" looking. Enjoy, Gardens Design

  • Our Humble Deck Garden, I know this doesn't hold a candle to the beautiful gardens I've seen on this site but I thought I'd share some little snippets of the plants and flowers on our deck and surrounding areas. I just wish our summer season lasted a bit longer.. Here in New England we blink and the summer is gone (at least it seems that way to me!), Patios & Decks Design

  • Is this Dallas, TX?, We downsized a few years ago and the criteria for the new house was a wonderful backyard. When we walked into the house all you could see were the beautiful trees. With alot of work I have made my backyard my little piece of heaven. Sometimes you forget the temperature in Dallas when sitting in our shady space., Yards Design

  • My new backyard retreat, This all started when my old rotten deck had to be replaced. Now this is what I have as the outcome of several months of sketches trips to the home improvement store and some local nuseries. I wanted to create a space that was tranquil and offered a little more privacy from the adjoining lots. I feel that I've achieved what I was after initially. I might add a gate at the end of the driveway some time in the future. But as of right now I'm pretty content with the result., Yards Design
