Changed my son's room for the first time in 8 years, and boy did it need a change! Got rid of the Acorn Yellow and painted it BM Revere Pewter. Dumped the broken bunk bed (horrible choice! and replaced it with a double bed with a single trundle underneath. Great birch tree wall decal with an M I got on eBay. Twig panel from Pier 1 as was the compass. I painted the oil painting. Bedding all from Target.

This tree is now available as a decal at http://www.etsy.com/shop/AnitaRoll. The color combination is unusual but reallly works in this nursery that is sweet and dramatic at the same time.

This mom wanted a sweet and serene gender neutral nursery for her first born. So, she painted the baby's room yellow - Behr Ultra in Moon Dance. The pine furniture was from Westwood Design, Cypress Point line in Honey Pine. The wall decals, from weeDECOR, are the whimsical tree with birds which were placed next to the crib and owls on a branch which sit over the changing table. She tells us her son loves looking at the decals when they are changing him and they love that the wall decals are made of eco-friendly fabric! The rug is the double border rectangular rug in Antique Linen from JC Penney's. The frog wall art and owl statue are from 2 separate art galleries in Santa Fe, NM where mom and dad vacationed before the little one was born.

We created a cute comfortable nursery on a budget. We wanted to keep the walls neutral so we added lots of color in the accessories. The entire room including furniture, paint, light fixture, and accessories cost less than $600. We couldn't be happier with the results!

Wow! An eye-catching modern aqua and orange nursery with a delightfully reasonable price tag. A Nurseryworks crib serves as the focal point of the room. Colorful accents such as a rug, orange lamp, and baby bedding brighten the space. Paper lanterns hang delicately from the ceiling for a pop of color
A tree wall decal with friendly blue and orange birds and owls from weedecor.com bring softness.

I used the birch forest stencil from cutting edge stencils for the paint. We also replaced the fixtures, sink, and toilet. This room was inspired by a room I saw on HGTV's site (the Back in Black, small bathroom design

This is my little boy's room. I wanted to to something impactful and fun but on a budget. Most of the projects I DIY'd myself. See the tutorials at www.seecatecreate.wordpress.com as well as other craft, fashion, and decorating tutorials.

For our daughter's room, we were on a pretty tight budget. I custom designed all of the decals (www.ten23designs.com to give her space a personal touch. I handmade all of her bedding with fabrics from Hobby Lobby.

Half bath with tree theme. One wall is faux bois (fake wood painted in brown and metallic gold. One wall has a large wall decal with a chocolate brown tree and metallic gold grass. This is in an older home that we have been updating ourselves and on a budget. This was my first time painting faux bois..I really liked the finished product.

This is my master bath. It came as AN ALL WHITE BATH with oak cabinets 16 years ago (see before pic. I had a VERYlimited budget to make it look less....well less builder grade and "old."
Here is what I did:
Took down old wallpaper and put up new
Put on new cabinet doors and painted the vanity
Putin new faucets
Hung new mirrors
Put up crown and pained the ceiling yellow (love the brighness this added.
Put frosted window covering on the shower stall as it was VERY old and tired and I could not get the glass clean anymore?? Then put on the tree decal. I think it is very cool!
Total budget was around $1,100 which is not bad for a new bath!!

With Gianna being our first girl, it was hard to stray away from the pink. We had to try and fit a nursery into our small guest room while still keeping the much needed extra bed. We wanted something soft, clean and simple which lead us to a pastel pink and green color choice with dark brown for the furniture. Such colors logically inspired a tree wall decal which gave life to the theme of a baby girls forest oasis.

This is a modern take on a girls nursery. I wanted the room to grow with my daughter so I steered clear of the traditional baby pink. This space is modern, fun and fresh. Check out my etsy site at www.diodiodomesticcouture.com

As our first child was due in April, I wanted to create a spring-like nursery that wasn't "too baby." There were two big challenges: 1. The room is tiny - 8x10 and 2. The room doesn't get much light, so I was also challenged to create something bright and cheery without being overbearing.
