This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child.

We moved in this house 2 years ago, the kitchen had shelfing paper for wall paper, I striped it and added a chair rail and painted. The neighbor gave us a table that I changed quite a bit. The floor is nasty and even clean looks like its filthy. I added the stone backsplash which I got on sale and really don't care for but it helped a little. I hate this kitchen, the dryer is in the garage and the washer is right in the middle of the kitchen, I hate that too... need I say more? It's pitiful, just pitiful.

What were we thinking? We remodeled this kitchen years ago when we were first married, and we must have chosen the cheapest route on everything... now we hate hate hate it, and wish we had gone with higher quality cabinets, counters, appliances, everything. This kitchen should serve as a lesson to all who remodel... choose well, even if the costs hurt a bit! You will be living with it for a long time!

With my son's help we gutted the entire bathroom. Gross surprises....dead rat and a huge nest of carpenter ants sent us screaming. Another surprise was a crack in the concrete floor going the full length of the bathroom. This is what we have to work with. What have I done...lol? Bargain finds on Craig's List yielded 100 square feet of glass tile ($80 total and 175 square feet of high end tile and supplies ($160. Suggestions?

This is our master bath. It is as big as our master bedroom! White of course was not working for me. I went red!!! This room is still a work in progress we plan to expand the shower possibly change the bathtub get rid of the large built in and make changes to the tile and the vanity. Our closet is also apart of this room. (It's tiny! The bath and closet together is roughly 16' x 16'.

this is a back hall in the house it needs big help it has 5 doors one going to the back garden. The rooms off are white grey midnightbluelilacthe lights are not good the floor is new tile light in colour with 2 steps near the end.it gets dark after about 11.00am this I know iit is a bad space and a real challenge

One big room that I have tried and tried to do something with. It is so DARK in here, that i have to run the pictures through paint shop pro and lighten then, so you can see them. Angelo, i would understand why you would not want to tackle this room. There are too many variables, the darkness, handicapped accessibility, lack of storage, lack of plugs, and the lighting sucks. We can't enjoy the fireplace, because it is too low to see it from everywhere. But if you can give me some ideas how i can improve it...I would appreciate it. We dream of a propane gas fireplace.

My living room and dining room are connected together and is in an awkward rectangle shape. The carpet is outdated. It is very dull and boring. No pictures, no art, nothing that makes it stand out. My husband and I started working on the walls but haven't had the time to finish. There is an ugly paint color on one of the walls that we tested out, so there is more than one color up right now and it looks very bad! We have a small entertainment thing for the tv and other accessories but no shelfs for pictures, collectables, etc..... It looks very empty!!!

Big living room, space is too big that we cannot agree what to do with it nor do we have any clue what to do. The fire place looks like my 4 year old built it. Love my home but hate the living room. This is where we spend all of our time but it is so boring and drab! Too big and awkward.

Big room that opens up once you enter the house. Main living area. Needs to be functional for as formal living room, entry way to the house and INVITING. Has great potential, but lost with what to do. High vaulted ceiling, low walls, cast iron wood stove fireplace. Beautiful atrium doors looking out to full length of house deck. Dark at night, need proper lighting. Help!

An all white kitchen with plenty of depth to it using solid walnut cabinets, Calcutta Oro marble counters, carrerra marble subway tile as a backsplash, and hidden appliances. Plus, it's always better to double up on function with two dishwashers, two ovens, 6 burners, and a double fridge and freezer columns.

We have old shabby kitchen cabinets, which some our comming loose from the wall with all kinds of cookie jars all over the place. We put about 7,000. in it and then I had 5 back surgies and 1 neck surgery, so can't afford to put any more money in the kitchen on a fix income.
